โ โ โ โ โ After a boys night out; I came here around 12:30 am Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Had one family of 8 and everyone there were Chinese, which shows you that even they think the food is good. Personally, I think the food is amazing. I've visited 5 or 6 times late night and twice during the day. It seems like it's always busy. Good luck trying to reserve during peak hours on the weekend. On to the food - I've ordered the following from them: ho fan (flat rice noodles with beef in black bean sauce), minced beef soup, sirloin black pepper beef with onions, Cantonese chow mein, beef with Chinese broccoli in black bean sauce and steamed oyster with black bean sauce. Yeah, I love black bean sauce. The pictures I've taken doesn't do it justice. Remember - that was late at night. The food quality, portion, and price are well worth the visit alone. Service from the waiters/waitress and food service (length of wait) might be a bit frustrating. Probably my top 3 Chinese restaurants to go to In the GTA, and that's high praise considering how many there are.

โ โ โ โ โ I only come to Toronto once every few years. Everything I come, I eat at this restaurant. My family absolutely loves it and makes sure to bring me, the food is incredible and the staff is extraordinarily kind.

โ โ โ โ โ The place has gone downhill since the pandemic. It's not as good, but it is still decent enough to eat at for a few meals here and there if you're on a tight budget or just need something quick because your favorite restaurant was closed down by disease!

Ordered tung choi in shrimp sauce, canton chow mien, fried tofu and Taiwanese tofu with peanut and dried fish (#10 in their take out menu).
It was only 3 of us. The whole thing costed me $70 as they added SERVICE CHARGE for about $7.50 which is about 15%. Beware!!! Otherwise you will be double tipping. Is this legal? I thought tips are not mandatory. Many Chinese restaurants now are adding tips in the bill. I think the government should do something.
We used to come here often prior pandemic. The is different now. It is not as good. I wonโt recommend and I wonโt go back to this restaurant

โ โ โ โ โ Came here with my dad and brother one weekday. The service was typical Chinese restaurant service.
The food was quite good. The food is definitely on the pricier side for your typical Chinese restaurant but still delicious. My favorite is the deep fried shrimps with the salted egg yolk coating. The pigeon is not bad but definitely over priced for how small the ones we got were. The oysters in the stone pot were great too.
We also got these baked egg desserts which were apparently some kind of special for that night. They served it fresh out of the oven and it was delicious.

โ โ โ โ โ It was my first time at this restaurant. I was feeling a bit pressured and uncomfortable. The owner was too aggressive selling seafood and expensive dishes to us. If you do not order as per suggested, she will give you an attitude. The taste of the food that we ordered was ok and the portion was fair.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the worst dining experiences Iโve had in 32 years. First thing worker did was recommended expensive dishes that fed more than the number of us that showed up.
Ordered this sad looking duck with taro, where a bulk of the dish was taro, the duck was dry and old, the meat was tough. Furthermore, the flavour balance was way off. It tasted like cheap plum sauce forceful mashed in with duck and taro. The more I looked at it, the more irritated I got, to the point where I felt sick looking at it. Not sure what was worse, the taste or how it looks. It was a tangy disaster.
Lastly, was told by friends that the place is decent. I would have given them a chance has they not slapped a service fee on it without informing their customer. Best part of the experience was walking out after paying for this sorry meal. Good riddance!

โ โ โ โ โ True the owner tried her best to sell some seafood and gave recommendations on what we should order. But we just need some time on the Menu. Overall the food is ok and the waitress replaced our plates also. The service charge 12% is included in the bill.
