All she wanted to do is go there and buy a new line that was just released a couple weeks ago. She has stickly used Aveda product for the last 15 years. There was this kid there that turned my girl off so bad that we decided to buy the same product elsewhere. He was asking irrelevant questions and giving opinions that were totally unknowledgeable. He talked way too much and came across like he thought he was Paul frickin Mitchel. My girl was so annoyed with this employee that she will never go back in if she sees this guy working.

K	Katrina Lyon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 stars because I absolutely love Aveda products...but I drove all the way to Rideau mall just to go to Aveda and was told by the girl to come back in 30 minutes because she was eating her lunch... I work in customer service and I have never closed the store during business hours for a break...I'm so upset especially because I paid for parking specifically to come here.
J	Josie Michelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CUSTOMER SERVICE BREAKDOWN Although I don’t believe the customer is always right, there are in fact times when a) the customer is right, or b) exceptions should be made. I am a loyal Aveda hair care customer for many years. As a gift for my birthday in June I received a product. As it is not my regular product I went to exchange it. The manager at the Rideau Centre location refused to exchange the product because it was purchased over 30 days ago. I very kindly explained that a) absolutely no where on the gift receipt does it indicate a return policy deadline, and b) i was not a client looking to abuse the system but rather a long standing client looking to exchange an unopened gift. But she wouldn’t. SO YA. THERE IS A COMPLETE BREAKDOWN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Aveda does not accurately indicate their return policy on gifts and I question the customer service training given to managers. Anyone looking to buy gifts, get them at Sephora or at department stores. There are too many great products and great places to deal with a company like this.

In fact, all 3 of the young ladies that were working this afternoon were friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere. However, the representative that I was dealing with the most was extremely knowledgeable in her products, and even directed me to other products to try, which I bought. I was pleased with the service I received, and I'll be coming here more often.
J	Jamie Bresolin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reading other reviews I see this is a common occurrence, but showed up at 4pm on a tuesday after fighting traffic and finding parking and it was closed with no notice of why or when someone may be back. This is not cool. Hours say 10am to 8pm. Just put a sign at least that says back in 5 or even back at some time!
