★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to write a formal letter and send it to the management of the store, but I am not able to locate the right tab on the website to do that. Therefore, I am going to express how satisfied my partner and I are with the service of this store. Today is considered one of the busiest days for shopping before Christmas, but we have been lucky to meet Page at the store. She is incredibly amazing; words cannot describe how helpful, enthusiastic, and professional she has been during our shopping experience. Usually, It takes us time to find the items we are looking for, in terms of size and colour, but this incredible employee exceeded our expectation with her excellent customer service. She treated us like "kings" and she made sure we had what we needed before we left the store. We bought four items that we are so happy about only because Page took the time, had the patience and expertise needed to explain in detail the nuances of the texture, size, and style. At first, I thought Page was the owner or the manager of the store because the way she was pleasing her customers only indicated that American Eagle at Rideau Centre was her own dear business. If there is a manager or an internal evaluator reading this review, please please please share our gratitude with Page because, for us, she is "employee of the month, the year, and the holidays."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went into this store to buy some new jeans and I asked a very nice lady for my size as it was not on the rack. She was not only super helpful, but so kind and charming. She went above and beyond to assist me even though they did not have my size in store. We talked for a few minutes and when she said "I'm sorry, I'm fairly new" I was surprised, as she knew her stuff. If the management of this store is reading this (and I hope they do), her name is Lindsay and she is somebody who you should really keep on your team. She is an asset to this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there the other day and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and the one working the fitting room helped me with all my questions. Even asked me what I didn’t like about the shirts in case she could find a better fitting alternative. Their covid precautions are also top quality. They actually take the number of people in the store seriously and ensure that there is more than enough room for physical distancing before letting new people in. And of course their jeans are always amazing!

They were friendly extremely accommodating and listened to what exactly it was I was looking for. Thank you to all who are working throughout this pandemic and trying to stay in-touch with customers. It was great to have that interaction and I recommend having a virtual styling session!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not amazing quality, most of their jeans wear out in 3-4 months. I find the sales associates at this location to be the pushiest in Ottawa. I am too polite to tell them in person that I don't want to hear about every single promotion when I am truly just looking around. To be fair, it is most likely management's fault for pushing a draining, disingenuous sales approach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been looking for a summer dress for a while, and all the other brands that I’m a regular to have failed me. Randomly walked into this store and found something lovely. Although I may suggest reviewing the store policy which may constitute over service and made me feel a bit intrusive, like this is the only store in the mall where staff ask every customer if they can help find their size even if someone is just browsing, and I don’t believe ppl aren’t able to find heir own sizes by reading the tags (also I imagine this may be result in further discomfort for ppl of bigger sizes to say their size aloud); also they ask ppl’s names and write that on the doors of fitting room, the guy working around there is super nice, but this practice seems a bit unnecessary to me

The last few times we have attended the Rideau Centre location and we will continue to do so due to the incredible service received by Kyla. She is always friendly , is extremely knowledgeable and provides exceptional customer service. She is truly an asset to American Eagle. I love to shop and this is honestly the best service I have ever received of any stores. It’s always a great feeling leaving with a bag full of clothing you love. Kyla is definitely a jean expert no matter what size or body shape you are.
