★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed my time getting my hair bleached and toned. The result was literally exactly how I imagined it couldn't be happier. Got a really well priced in Victoria's market and awesome atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to go here quite a bit but always found they didn't do things quite the way I was used to. Trimming my hair before highlighting it, for example. It's always been the other way around. Recently went in for balayage and the girl bleached out literally all of my hair except maybe one to two centimeters at the root.. not sure how that was balayage.. but I ended up making it work. Sadly I won't be going back here. I do like one stylist there, I believe his name is David, but aside from that too many negative experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just moved into Victoria and was searching for a new salon. I walked in off the street and spoke with Rino - he was super friendly and the prices were quite reasonable. A few weeks later, I made an appointment for a cut and colour with Hannah. She was super friendly and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend her!

My hairdresser Olin is absolutely wonderful! I even gave him a couple hugs which I don't normally do with strangers. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been getting my hair done at Arq salon for almost 2 years now. Rikki is the only person I have let cut my hair since I first started going to her. Every time I leave after a cut from Rikki I am happy with the results. She is friendly and makes a hair appointment fun. I have recommended her to my friends and family, all of who were happy with their results. Every once in awhile the Salon puts on a fun educational night as well which are worth attending. I highly recommend the salon as whole, all the staff are great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got my very long (and also really damaged) hair trimmed here today along with some bangs and the customer service and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming!
Erinn was very nice, but I think the indecisiveness I had about the style of bangs I wanted made a bit of an issue of time for her so things were feeling a rushed at the end of my hair styling session. However she did let me know that I could come back anytime for some bangs trimming!
Definitely leaning towards coming back here for a trim and maybe even a perm sometime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife use to see David on a regular for years. She stopped seeing him because he only wanted to do either blonde or brown hair color on her. One year on her birthday she had booked in a 3 hour time slot to get her hair done. When she arrived he said "so the regular?" She said that she was hoping to try something different and wanted to go red very badly. She had expressed wanting to do this beforehand. He said that he couldn't because he needs to know in advance so he can prepare. She was shocked as she did mention it to him beforehand and it didn't seem like an issue then. He was only putting red over her blonde hair and again they had a 3 hour time slot. He refused and said it probably wouldn't suit her anyways and so he said we will just touch up the blonde. She not wanting to walk out accepted and he didn't even color her roots which he usually use to, he just did highlights. One of his employees even asked why he hadn't colored her roots and he legit said "because we don't unless the client asks" yet he knew that's what they always did to her. She same home in tears and I asked her why she didn't get her hair done? And she again burst into tears because apparently she had, but no word of a lie it looked like NOTHING been done. Not only this, but the last few times she went, David argued with his work partner and my wife felt very uncomfortable. She's never been back.
