★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the comfort level at The Old Hat Hair. The staff is amazing and friendly. I had my hair cut by Ian Jacek, on of the Barbers at the shop and he does an amazing job. Would Highly recommend seeing Ian if you need a trim and if you want someone to talk to. Ian is very knowledgeable in a lot of subjects but if you like video games, movies, Wrestling, or just about any topic, Ian is your guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Old Hat is a GREAT place to go for all your hair needs… Piper has been doing my hair for nearly 13 years, tolerating many iterations of dyeing and terrible habits. The shoppe they have created has always been incredibly welcoming and accommodating - this location is no exception. Piper and their staff go above and beyond for their clients, and truly make you feel comfortable in your own skin as far as exploring your personal style expression. I have never walked away disappointed in a service nor felt pressured into buying a product. My hair and my heart are healthier and happier for knowing Piper and being a client in their space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service was excellent. My wife originally wanted to dye her hair to a bright color. Holly completed the strain test but we received a phone call from her letting us know that unfortunately my wife's hair would not be able to withstand the color we wanted. Although we could not use their services for reasons beyond their control, we appreciate the salon's honesty and consideration which is why I would recommend the salon (based on their customer service). Our experience with the owner Piper has also been pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love The Old Hat Hair Shoppe!! One barber cut with Doug Macneill and all the cow licks I’ve had and hated my whole life disappeared forever; he literally changed the way my hair grows! He knows me well and always delivers what I want better than I envisioned it myself. I always feel so good after going! Great atmosphere, exceptional service, equitable pricing, and nothing but the highest quality in all regards. More than worth every dollar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have seen Sammy at the Old Hat several times now and she always does an incredible job! She’s always open to my creative requests such as undercuts and vivid colours and always recommends the best products to use and even made me a custom colour depositing conditioner for my bright green hair at no extra cost (just the regular conditioner price). Sammy always goes above and beyond and I would recommend her to any of my friends or family in a heartbeat. Plus, the Old Hat is a great hair shop with lots of character and in a beautiful convenient location :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the only place I go for my hair. I have been a client for years. Piper has created such a fantastic space. I see the barber Doug, twice a month. He is kind, quick and fun to be around. My hair is always flawless. Kate has been dying my hair for over a year now, and she always exceeds my expectations. With the Doug and Kate combo, I am looking slick and stylish even when I feel low and gross. Haha. Thanks old hat!

Awesome conversation with him every time I'm in, but knows when to chill out if you've had a rough day. Highly recommended to anyone!
