★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently got my hair cut here at Heartwood and Co. by Lindsay. It’s been years since I got a haircut that I was actually happy with, and I couldn’t be happier with this cut. The salon is beautifully styled, and the stylists are all super lovely. This is my new go-to salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the hairdresser was nice she totally butchered my hair. She gave me weird layers that aren’t even (and weren’t asked for) and I felt like she just took the reins and didn’t do what I asked. I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning.

I had a member of the staff reach out to me offering to fix my hair. This was amazing customer service and has changed my view on the salon. I really appreciated their hospitality and will be returning after my positive experience post hair cut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marlee is a really great stylist, especially if you have curly hair. All staff are friendly and prices for services are less than some other salons. Online booking system is easy to use, and you don't have to wait as long for an appointment as many other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to many top salons in Victoria like Fish Hair Salon, Gold Salon, etc... and this is BY FAR the best experience and service in Victoria for hair cuts, colour treatments, bleaching, customer service, and atmosphere. They have an excellent range of products and a newly added vintage clothing section. They also offer a rental space for events. Would recommend to anyone looking for top-quality service. I've worked with hair specialist's Rae and Marlee, both very skilled and friendly employees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ heartwood & co is the most beautiful artsy beauty/lash/hair tech building you will visit. whoever designed this place deserves to win an award. i have gotten both my hair and lashes done multiple times here, and am always happy with the results. the girls are so nice and always have amazing style! i like the location as well because it’s like a little hole in the wall and when you walk up for the first time you don’t expect it to look so pretty inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only planned to go in once to get my nails done for fun, as i work a pretty hands-on job, but had such a warm and friendly experience with Sherry (one of the nail artists), that ive gotten my nails done regularly with her ever since! At my first appointment, Sherry boldly tried a marbled gold detailed leopard pattern that she had never tried before and was totally game and willing to do whatever it took to have me leaving happy with my art - which i was! Ive gotten so many compliments on my nails with Sherry’s work, even from strangers. And my time with her is always relaxing, understanding and fun. Sherry has also really gotten to know my style and tastes so she offers cool patterns and styles that are to my liking, its a great collaborative process! The space at Heartwood is also gorgeous! Modern and spacious and bright and relaxing. I love this place! Top quality service forsure. I keep coming back :)
