★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Who would have known that you could find the best sneaker selection in a small boutique in Victoria! Staff went out of their way to help me find sizes, and were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone who is into streetwear and sneakers to visit Complex while on the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s funny, every time I’ve come in here I have had a very different experience. (I’m the type of person who could one day dress like a hype beast and the next day look like a hippie from saltspring) The times I have come in wearing designer and “hype” brands I’m treated very well, even received compliments and offered help however, whenever I wear anything else besides that, I get nothing but rude service and almost feels like the workers are “flexing” their clothes on you. Maybe that’s their tactic to encourage you to buy more clothes but it just comes off as unpleasant and snobby. The clothing selection is mid and prices are questionable. Complex is just like all the other sneaker and skate stores that offer fake raffles for more attention and just sell them to backdoor resellers and their friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's no better streetwear and sneaker shop on Canada's west coast than Complex. The owner and staff are always attentive and accommodating and their product knowledge is also impressive. There's a reason they've been a staple in the city since 1998!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knowledgable, friendly staff that love what they do and the culture. Often has the only releases in Victoria for certain kicks. Love their Complex branded clothing and they have pretty sweet sales sometimes too, highly recommend to any sneakerhead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hope you can extend your working hours on weekends like around 10pm. So we can visit your shop. Im working in a cruise every saturday we reach victoria at 6pm. Thats why there's no chance for us. :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve passed this place for a number of years and been in a few times. A strong selection of streetwear, and a excellent curation of the latest trends. I’m no sneakerhead but I was looking for a leather upper with the classic ‘gum’ sole. I asked the staff “what dictates your colour selection” as I was looking for a particular colour. Instead of asking “what are you looking for” or “can I help you find something in particular” I was sassed hard with “what you see is what we have”. Retail customers are hard to please, I get it. But c’mon sister! A little kindness goes a long way. All was redeemed as another gentlemen helped me try on a couple sets of kicks and after some camaraderie, he certainly helped me make that “purchase decision”.
