Antosz Vincelli Orthodontics - Calgary

I was honestly really nervous because I've never been to an orthodontist before. This was an incredible experience, the team is super nice and outgoing, they work hard go make you comfortable. I loved how they explained everything to me in detail. They even gave me a case for my brace because I lost it.

Loved them initially, have become a big “corporation type office” now, lost the feeling of them knowing you by name and now just another number and another dollar. 2 rounds of braces and 7 years total. A couple great hygentists -Megan namely who we saw regularly-but now someone different every time, same as Doctor/flavour of the week. Front desk has become increasingly disorganized and the point system is a joke. So many “lost points” over the years/from them changing systems, over $13K spent and countless appointments and was told she had $270 in gift cards to claim, then called back in and told nope-$70. Would not recommend anymore. Ortho on every street corner so not worth the drive to go to this office, nothing special about it. Go somewhere that appreciates your hard earned money.

My child has a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist so naturally I was very nervous about how his orthodontic work was going to go since it was so extensive. I am VERY happy to report that so far it has been going great! We still have tears at some point before or during the appointment but that is to be expected. What really impresses me about the team is how patient everyone is. They take the time to explain everything, they are very kind and they have him laughing and smiling before you know it.

Ten years ago, I met with Dr. Antosz at the Market Mall location. At that time I began my 2 year Orthodontic Treatment with Dr. Antosz putting my trust and expectations into him and his Team. Unfortunately, today they confirmed to me that they have failed. At the end of my treatment plan, the Antosz Team made a Retainer which I have been wearing every night since I was 14. I am 22 years old now and last year, I went back to the Antosz Team because I wanted to get a new Retainer. I met with the Antosz Team and at that time they prepared a new Retainer for me. They called me to go pick it up and I paid $300 and left. I started wearing the new Retainer and immediately felt something was wrong with how the Retainer fit so I called and met with Dr. Antosz and he said nothing is wrong you just need to “get use to it”. So I continued wearing it for a few more months trusting Dr. Antosz. A month ago I contacted Antosz’s Team and explained that it is still not fitting right and I am experiencing discomfort. So they made me wait for a month to get an appointment. When I arrived at their offices, I assumed that I was meeting with Dr. Antosz instead Dr. Vincelli comes in the room. I explained my concerns and he argues that my teeth are shifting now and we need to start a new consultation!!!! I was frustrated, so in the meantime I began wearing the old Retainer and I had no discomfort. The next day my mother called their offices and requested that we meet with Dr. Antosz. Today we finally met with his Office Administrator first and then with Dr. Antosz. Without examining me, Dr. Antosz explained that I am suffering with TMJ and the only way to treat it would be to “go down a rabbit hole” (jaw surgery etc.). He then examined my mouth and confirmed the new Retainer is causing the problems and advised me to stop wearing the new Retainer and to use my old retainer. After spending $300 on a new Retainer and over 10K of Orthodontic work that is not the answer I would have expected from a doctor who I have trusted as a child. Dr. Antosz did not offer to do anything for me except to PURCHASE A NEW RETAINER!!! I asked for our money back since the new Retainer can’t be used. He responded “why would I do that you have worn it for a year”. What a disappointment not even to offer to redo the retainer just to confirm. Dr. Antosz was rude and hostile to us. We were actually surprised he didn’t throw us out of his facility. After having been a patient of Antosz Orthodontics for many years, Dr. Antosz and his team have deceived me!

We went in for a regular monitor type appointment to see how my daughters jaw is growing. It’s a quick appointment. And true to this we were in and out in a few minutes. The folks behind the desk and in the treatment area are great as always. No complaints. Gratitude for keeping up the great morale and rapport that we are accustomed to seeing and feeling during our visits. It makes the visits a nice experience. See you next year!!!

Always a pleasant experience!! We were greeted at the door and ushered in. The assistant was professional but also fun. Making my 10 year old comfortable. And Dr. Vincelli took time to explain how things were going using the X-ray to help us to understand the plan moving forward. It’s slow go for us but know the outcome will be worth the wait. Definitely would recommend.

I have been so happy with all of my experiences at Antosz Vincelli Orthodontics. They have been kind, patient and informative. They addressed my daughter’s fear and nervousness effectively and gently. The office atmosphere is engaging and fun. I recommend this office every time.

They are simply the best. Always kind and efficient. The office is incredible. Like a museum for super hero’s. Even an arcade and hot chocolate now ! Brilliant business model for this age group. My son never complains about his braces check up !
