★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Excellent and Excellent. This is the BEST dental clinic I have ever been to. I believe the search is over. Friendly staff and extremely kind and knowledgeable dentist. If you have any autoimmune issues - and even if you don't - Maxwell Dental is the place you want to be. Finally, I found a dentist I trust.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Claims to be a dental clinic with a holistic approach, which isn't true. I felt dismissed by different employes. They charge more money than other clinics for same services. Also, their medical recommendations could have been dangerous for my health. I am very happy I left this clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in a few weeks back for my new patient exam and I saw Dr. Xu and her dental assistant Kate for my appointment. They were both very friendly and did a fantastic job of thoroughly explaining what they were doing and answering my questions. The appointment was very efficient as I was in and out of the office in an hour, but in no way felt rushed. Overall, it was a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Maxwell Dental are super friendly and professional. Don't feel rushed and no judgement (ie haven't been to a dentist for quite a long time), such caring hygienist & staff. They take the time to thoroughly look after my teeth & explained everything they were doing. Great to have a dental clinic that approaches oral health with a holistic approach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing. Such a kind team of staff. I’ve never felt so taken care of!! They explain everything in detail and make sure you don’t feel pressured to do anything you don’t want to. They explain all options and are honest with outcomes. Never thought I’d say I love going to the dentist… but I do!! If you’ve ever had a bad experience or are nervous, go here !! My teeth have never felt better.

They always make sure whatever service I am getting is covered by my insurance and give me the best dental advice. My teeth have never looked better!!

I LOVE how great & patient they are with our son (6yrs), love their holistic approach & also their up front HONESTY when it comes to costs of various procedures that may not be covered by AB health or our insurance plan.
Thorough & gentle dentistry; Respectful & friendly staff throughout. Glad to have found Maxwell Dental & to not feel ANXIOUS when it’s time for our routine appointments.

I deeply appreciate their holistic approach to dentistry and the way that their values around health align with my own. However, there is an ongoing frustration of constantly being billed for procedures and costs not covered by insurance and being surprised by these costs as they aren’t mentioned prior to treatment. This often adds a level of stress and anxiety to my dental experience.
The attitude I have often encountered from the staff is that "it's not a big deal". There is a lack of understanding that for many people, unexpected costs, no matter the amount, are a very big deal indeed.
In November I took the time to reach out to the management team at Maxwell and express my thoughts and invited them to consider what a truly consent-based practice would look like. One where all the information was offered - the procedure, the cost, and the fact that insurance would likely not cover it. As a client I would then feel empowered to make the best decision for my body, as well as my mental health (which is directly impacted by finances).
Not only did they not respond, in December they billed my credit card for another procedure fee I did not consent to.
I had stayed with them because Dr. Rodriguez was so wonderful. But she has left the practice, so there is no reason to stay and be treated with so little respect.
Bottom line – take your business elsewhere.
