★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Amica staff. My mother was a resident of Amica Britannia over the past year and received outstanding care and attention. In particular, Patti, was incredible with her personalized care, attention and infectious sense of humour. Patti takes the time to know each of the residents personally and speaks to them as if they are her own family member. She is beautiful both inside and out. My mother greatly appreciated two special care givers: Jeanette and Winnie. The maintenance staff, Michelle and George went above and beyond to support each resident with their specific needs. We highly recommend Amica to families who are financially able to select high level private care for their loved ones. We will always be humbly appreciative to Amica Britannia!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Maison is a wonderful place for those needing that extra assistance as they transition. I brought my Mom here to Calgary from small town Saskatchewan to have her closer to me. We started in an independent facility which was great but Mom was losing her eye sight due to Glaucoma and having mobility issues. The independent facility did not have the 24 hour nursing care - Mom needed level four care. We toured many facilities to find the right one for her and the Maison won hands down from the minute I walked in. It is a beautiful facility. Yes, it took Mom a couple of months to settle in - but today she is happy, well taken care of and enjoying more activities than she ever did in the independent facility. The staff is there for her 24 hours a day and make sure they come to get her for activities they know she will enjoy. The meals are first class and to many (including my Mom) that is very important. I like to travel a lot and the Maison has taken that "guilt" from me in that I know when I am away, Mom is well looked after. The Management and staff have given me that confidence in everything they do. There is daily cleaning, laundry, hair salon, movie theatre, Friday cocktail hour - it is all there. My Mom feels like she is part of a community which is all that needs to be said.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 73-year-old husband was very sick at Christmas and acid result needed to go into assisted living. He is also confined to a wheelchair to complicate matters. I looked at a number office Sellitti's but none came anywhere near to the standards of amateur Brittania. I knew the minute I sat down with Lindsey that this was the perfect place. My husband loves the food and the chef is very engaged with the residents. . The nursing care is attentive and they administer all of his meds including insulin. All of the staff, from Katie at the concierge desk who knows all things and Is always eager to help , and including the housekeeping staff are top notch. They are friendly and attentive. I cannot say what a huge relief it is for me to have found such a caring new home for my dear husband. I am always welcomed whenever I come there. My husband is safe and well cared for and happy and I cannot ask for anything more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a joy working at Amica; the team is inclusive, supportive, everyone works together and has such big hearts. The residence are wonderful and truly the gift of the place. If circumstances ever came to it, I would have confidence knowing my parents were taken care of, living at Amica.
