Through the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff has been helping me with online grocery orders and I never knew how easy it could be to get everything I want, and more, online at the computer desk. Great help.
A	Amanda H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely rude women working the front desk. Nothing but attitude when they spoke to us. As essential delivery personnel I'd leave no stars but that isn't an option. Pushy, bossy and just plain rude. If they are that ride to us I can only imagine how the tenants are treated. Very sad considering its all seniors. I'd never recommend anyone to live here as long as they are working the front desk.

While of course it is very hard not to be able to visit, share birthdays and other special occasions with our parents, we are greatly comforted knowing that the staff are ensuring all the residents--ie, our parents--are checked in on regularly, and all their needs are being met daily. Most importantly, the staff are ensuring that strict protocol for fighting the COVID-19 virus is followed very carefully by all living, working or visiting the Manor. Thank you ALL!

I was there for a short visit to drop off mask extenders (EarSavers) for their staff who are wearing a mask at the time. There were other visitors, we all found a parking spot close by. I saw signages to wash hand and keep distance. Front admitting staff is friendly and well protected by full gear. While we got our space for our little wait, I saw they were sanitizing visitor gifts promptly in detail too. Peace of mind and efficiency, thanks for taking care of our seniors!

I credit the facility, the atmosphere, the services and the outstanding care for extending his life. Tanya, Rhea and Siya are exceptional, kind, caring and compassionate caregivers. Jonah is always accessible and willing to assist us in determining the best care for Dad. Dad feels this is his home and he often expresses how grateful he is to live there. Our family could not have asked for a better place for Dad to live and thrive. Thankyou to everyone at the Manor Village at Garrison Woods.

Despite their increased workload due to COVID19, they were very generous with their time. The executive director, Karen, liaised with me about our plans to serenade Mom from the Manor’s driveway, and also assisted my daughter with finding staff members to help Mom join our family Zoom birthday party. Thanks to Cindy and Christine for taking photos of the birthday serenade for us, and to Jean and Mark for their technical wizardry with connecting Mom to Zoom. Our family is incredibly grateful to all the caring staff at Manor Village Garrison Woods, not only for helping to make our Mom’s birthday memorable, but for keeping her and all the other residents healthy and happy during this difficult time!!

We want to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the staff who looked after her so well, truly as though she was a member of their family. In an industry where customer care is not guaranteed, Manor employees are completely dedicated to their calling. Tanya, Dawn and so many others, showed daily thoughtfulness and kindness to our mom that was outstanding at every level. Administration, Wellness and Reception are very approachable and one cannot say enough about how well they handled the security of their residents during the extremely trying COVID crisis. Also, kudos to Jean who has revitalized resident activities immensely. The residents are wonderful and Mom was blessed with the dear friends she made while living there.

I cannot say enough about the kind and caring staff at the Manor. I particularly want to thank Dawn, Tanya, Siya and Thea, who cared for my mom as if she was part of their families. They all did the expected things, but then went far beyond my expectations in not only caring for her health, but with love and affection. I know how much my mom valued their friendship, and what a difference it made to me knowing she was in such good hands. I also want to thank Jonah Suezo, the Wellness Director, and Karen Shippey-Hellman, the Director, for everything they did. I highly recommend The Manor at Garrison Woods, not only because it is a nice facility, and because everyone makes an extra effort to make it feel like home, but because of the exceptional loving care from the staff.
