Christine Taylor and her whole staff were just great. The health and safety was their first priority and duty to take care of us very seriously which I admire. Thank our Lord for such kind and generous people. Now what do I like about Chartwell? I love my suite which is very spacious, there is a bath and shower in it, exercise room, theatre, library, entertainment room etc. I have a word for some future seniors who are thinking of selling their homes and condos and moving to a seniors home - Think Chartwell with all the different features and amenities and services. We have weekly housekeeping the dinners are great and you feel safe here!

My family and myself are impressed with the caring staff and how they immediately welcomed and embraced my Dad. They encouraged him to get involved in the activities and to socialize with the other residents. The atmosphere here gave Dad a renewed sense of belonging and purpose.Every meeting I have had with Christine and her team has been a positive experience. The additional challenges the Covid-19 pandemic posed to seniors facilities have not changed the positive feelings I have for the staff. The fact they have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of the residents and the fact they have not had an outbreak since the beginning of this crisis is further testament to the fact that the facility is very well run. To families who are considering a safe and secure placement for their loved one: my family and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Their ability to take swift action and formulate strategies and communicate with family is a gift/god send to all who walk through the Chartwell Colonel Belcher doors!

The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We also enjoyed connecting with the residents and hearing their stories. Christine and Shelby showed me around the property and I was very impressed with the renovations, cleanliness, variety of room options and the amount of activities that they had. I actually asked at one point if I could get a room there as I am a little under the age limit as it seems to be a wonderful facility. They even talked about a free shuttle service they have to the mall and medical appointments! Absolutely would have no hesitation referring my clients to this facility.
