Dr. Walker is wonderful and shares her knowledge with us. She has been seeing our dog since he was born. The staff and other Veterinarians are wonderful. Our dog gets excited when he knows we are going to the vet.

I was very worried after my Cooper was throwing up but Doctor MacIntosh and the staff took care of him. Doctor MacIntosh is a delightful person and puts your mind at ease. Thank you.

This is the best Vet's office I have ever been to (and I have been to several Vet. offices since I move a lot). Their Receptionists and Vet. Techs are awesome - professional, organized, and respectful. Their Vets are also awesome. My dog's Vet is Dr. Sparks and he is honestly the best Veterinarian. He performs a thorough examination and takes the time to explain everything he has checked in immense detail. He will not rush you and he will think about and answer every question in great detail as well. He is so friendly and knowledgeable. Although I only moved to Ottawa for a short amount of time, I am considering not moving from Ottawa because of the great Vet. services provided by Dr. Sparks and the team at this great office. Honestly the best Vet's office I (and my dog) have ever been to.

I had to have my cat put down ,due to her cancer coming back . It was a very painful thing to do saying good bye to my best friend thst we have had for 14 years the vet came in and really shared in our sorrow assured us we were doing the right thing this in my opinion shows a great deal of empathy and shows that they really do care for the well being of your fur babies . Will continues to go to this vet clinque for my pocket and any other fur babies I may have in the future

I purchased cat food from them and was very precise in the brand and name of food as my cat is very particular. Like so many, he was found wandering the streets as a kitten and was picked up by the Humane Society. I adopted him from there but he has has always had digestive trouble. I recently moved to Ottawa, ran out of his food, and ordered it from this Animal Hospital. I paid for it, picked it up, and when I gave it to my cat, he wouldn't eat it. Turns out it was the wrong cat food. I contacted Algonquin and they refused to accept a return of the food because the bag was open. I'm now out $60 and have received nothing but stress for it. It was your mistake. Why do I suffer for it?

I am normally not one to write a negative review but I feel I need to warn people to steer clear of this vet clinic. First, they should let you know that you must wait in your car until they are ready for you. I wasnt told this at the time of booking and was given attitude when I first arrived and tried to enter the clinic. It’s covid, and I get it but they really shouldn’t be rude when I was not informed of this ahead of time. I arrived the next day to pick up my dogs medication and food. When I got home I realized that I had someone else’s bill. I called back to let them know and make sure I didn’t pay for someone else's pet. I hadn’t, they had just mixed up the bills. Fine. No big deal. I then took a look at the quote they had provided me and it was for yet another persons pet. I called back again. The receptionist put me on hold for a while and when she came back on she said that I had the right quote. I said that’s not possible because the name, address, dogs name, breed etc was not correct. She finally said that she would get the dr to send it by email. Eventually we received the correct one. Two weeks later I called to make a follow up appointment. I was put on hold for a long time (again…it’s covid and things move slowly), however, someone picked up and said hello and when I responded they hung up. I called back, waited again and finally made the appointment. An hour later they called back to say that I would need to pick up some medication that I had to administer prior to my dogs appointment. So the next night I called and said I was on my way to pick up the meds…it was close to their closing time and the receptionist seemed annoyed. When I arrived she asked if I had paid for it. I said no because it was part of the quote and I didn’t realize that I would have to pay for the treatment before I even dropped her off. I had driven over without my wallet because I was under the impression I was just picking up some medication. I said that I wish someone had of told me that when I called. She responded “I didn’t realize that I would have to explain to someone that when you take something you have to pay for it” in a tone that was so rude I actually couldn’t believe someone would speak to another person like that. It was now 5min to close so there was no time for me to drive home to get my wallet. I asked what I was supposed to do since my dog needed to take the medication the night before her appointment. She shrugged her shoulders. At that point I swore under my breath (not at her) simply out of frustration. She told me that I needed to leave and slammed the door. This was over a $20 medication, after I spent $600 the week before and I was about to drop another $360 the next day. All that being said, the vet was great. It is very unfortunate that the receptionists are so unprofessional and rude. There are many amazing vet clinics in the Ottawa area. Learn from my experience and go somewhere that is more organized and competent.

This is my Veterinary Office/Hospital of choice and has been for years.. I have been to a few other places but always come back here.. they are really good with people and pets alike.. their prices are amazing and the quality of support and knowledge you get is the best.. the staff are usually always happy and courteous and the Veterinarians are always welcoming, happy and really to help and assist you and your pet in any way they can.. I have never had any pressure from any staff here to get a service ect.. for any of my animals that I didn't or don't want.. yes sometimes the Veterinarians will mention things to you or ask of you would like something as an option (because you may not know) but by no means are they pushy like some other places can be.. I feel as though they care about you and your pets needs and I feel as though they do an amazing job.. Great place for all your Pets medical needs and advice..

Extremely rude receptionist, my dog Momo is already one month late for her vaccine, they canceled our appointment on the same day ( all vets called in sick, which I totally understand) , but at the meantime my dog still needed to be taken care of , to get her vaccine and have her annual check up. The earliest time they can get my dog in will be another month later. So I booked appointment with another vet to get my dog look at, as soon as they found out that my dog is going to see another vet, their whole attitude changed completely. Despite the fact my other dog Marshy is being seen at this clinic and spending about $100 for her allergy injection every couple months. Really made me question if these people working here actually cared about our pet’s health.
