★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred for funny spot on my back which I didn't think much about. Ended being an early melanoma. Dr. Wong biopsied the spot and ended up sending me to a plastic surgeon for removal. I'm told this is something that might have killed me if I didn't catch it in time. Very grateful to all the medical professionals involved in my care.
I have told family members that they should get a skin check as a precaution because this type of cancer can be passed on.
