★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent family business that myself and about 10 of the people I know take our vehicles to. Thorough work and also a good rundown on how to prolong my vehicle's life, cause it's getting up there. Honest answers to that question of "is it worth it to fix or buy another vehicle". Charged less than we expected on this last piece of work too, and Gord was up front about costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my car there for an out of province inspection; as well as my new car for some suspension issues. It's a great family business and were very up front about what was going on and gave it to me honestly. I had taken my new car to a different mechanic and they said that the ENTIRE suspension needed to be replaced. I called bullsh*t and took it to them as I knew I had great business from them before, even if it was more of a drive. They said they needed to replace one $50 part. This shop also has very reasonable hourly prices and quick service. Great business. I would recommend this shop to anyone who asked. :) Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is more than 20 years overdue. I found Bob & Gord’s joint business card while cleaning-out some old boxes.
In the mid-90’s my girlfriend and I broke down north of Edmonton while heading home for the holidays. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday when we finally managed to find a shop that would even consider looking at the vehicle before Monday morning. We knew it was unrealistic and unlikely but we had to try as our funds were very limited; we could barely afford two nights at a hotel, never mind the unexpected repair cost.
With less than an hour before closing these folks diagnosed the problem and located a refurbished part. I believe it was the son (Bob...?) who stayed until almost 8pm to complete the repair. The charge was recognizably nominal. I’d say the service was great but, without a profit margin, it’s hard to consider this a service experience. What they did for us was a genuine act of kindness.
Accord Auto family; I hope you’ve done well over the years, I wish you all the best in years to come and I will continue to share my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Advertise Tune-ups, Brakes and General Repairs. Described to elder lady at desk what I needed for repair of coil and plugs but she kept repeating: tune up and told me to come back on Monday. I asked to talk with Mechanic but she said come back Monday. Man in coveralls passed by and seemed to take a little interest stating he was a mechanic but could not give me estimate for replacement of spark plugs and coil. End of story went to dealership where prices were easily obtained. The dealership took my car and gave me a ride home. Easy. Why leave a car with a shop that has no car specific tools, parts, advice or recommendations. I have to be comfortable before I leave my ride.
UPDATE: Freedom Ford took the car in the same day, estimate, had parts ordered and gave me a ride home. Oh, free coffee an a smile or two. Car runs well and i am quite satisfied. Oh the shop was cleaner more orderly and had a better attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to get a repair done. Competitive pricing and just really great people. They let you know what needs fixing and what could use work and tell you the pricing, and then fix only what you ask them yo repair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive been a loyal customer for 10 years. They are fast, tell you what needs doing and what can wait or be watched, and as a woman, I never feel talked down to. It’s a family business and they employ immigrants as well as Canadian born folks. 10/10 ?
