I don’t normally write reviews but I had to. I was thinking about getting an IUD for a while, and I finally decided it was the right decision for me. I opted for the copper IUD, and I’ve heard some horror stories about the pain and experience people have had getting them inserted/removed. I was extremely scared, but after some good reviews i opted to come here and I am so glad I did! Everyone was so nice, caring and compassionate! I was brought in to a nurse who explained everything to me, what the procedure would be like, what to expect afterwards. I was given some Tylenol and then my cervix was frozen (which I was so happy about) DR.M was so lovely and calming and i didn’t even realize the procedure was over!! It was almost painless- all i felt was a slight cramp and a bit of discomfort- almost like a Pap smear. I was cared for afterwards with some water and cookies and booked in for a checkup in a month. I had such a great experience here, thank you for being the change in medicine, that allows women to feel comfortable, thought of, and well cared for.

One of the worst & most traumatic medical experiences of my life. ? I had an IUD inserted and the doctor was way too aggressive. No proper communication, no freezing and no compassion or patience... all because of a miscommunication due to her not paying attention or listening to me when she asked me questions. Her only two questions were if I have ever had an IUD before and if I have ever had kids, to which I replied no. And even added that I just had a traumatic abortion 2 months prior and that's apart of why I was getting an IUD. As I was answering her, she also decided to ask her coworker/assistant about her weekend, and somehow heard me say that I have had kids. I(I didn't say this at all). During the procedure, I was bawling my eyes out and physically shaking from the pain while the doctor made me feel like I was overreacting...saying things like "do you want the IUD or not?! Youre making this take longer than it should, your in pain 'cause your cervix is open, oh she's sensitive!" While shoving a freezing needle into my open cervix causing more pain. When it was done, Doctor Saira Markovic walks out of the room while I am still crying and shaking and her assistant says "usually when people have had kids before we dont freeze them" .. and I just broke down crying more and said "I HAVE NEVER HAD KIDS! I said I had an abortion! How do you confuse that? You're not paying attention?!" distraught and in excruciating pain and shock. Her reply ? "Oh ... Sorry about that". What feels to be 15 seconds later, three nurses are forcing me off the table, I feel lightheaded, I feel blood fall out of my vagina, they dont put the pad on me properly so I bleed through my gown in the recovery room. I'm sure it didn't help that I needed a moment to collect myself from what I had just endured. They gave me two extra strength pills and a t3 (I dont usually take narcotics) after knowing that I had already taken 2 extra strength ibuprophens. I didnt even wait to feel better before I shoved a plastic bag in my pants that I found in the change room (which resembles a closet?) so that I wouldnt leak through my pants. I got an uber home crying the entire time. 0/10. Would not recommend. I felt like roadkill leaving the place. ??

The receptionist (a Chinese woman) was very rude and unprofessional. I told her my situation and she basically told me that I’m wrong. After taking 3 different types of pregnancy tests at home, they all came back positive, one even said I’m 3+ weeks pregnant. Yet, this woman told me that she cannot help me because my period is a day late. She told me that I need to wait an extra week. I hope you are reading this. You were very rude and how could you tell a client that she is wrong? I hope you get fired from your job. People like you should not be working in a place like this. They need to hire more caring, kind and professional people.

I was 6 weeks pregnant. I called in, got an appointment, came in, paid $80 for the non-OHIP procedure. Then a nurse talked me through the process. I changed into a gown they provided and got an IV injection of meds to take the edge away. Within 3 minutes, the procedure was complete. I rested for 30 minutes and got changed. There is a pharmacy downstairs. I got an antibiotic prescription which I filled and that’s it. Quick, easy, respectful.

I called because I wish to maybe book an appointment with one of their doctors so I can ask some questions and get some advice as it’s written on their website that they provide “gynecological exams, birth control, pregnancy tests and check-ups for patients who do not wish to visit their family doctor”. Well, the receptionist (I believe she’s a Chinese woman) was so rude right from the beginning. I have never encountered anybody like that and you would think that because it’s a women’s care clinic they’ll be more caring, understanding and compassionate to the patients or will-be patients. She’s not helpful considering people who she’ll be dealing with are most probably in distress and are already going through a lot. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put her somewhere else in the back of your office, she is not a good representation of your clinic. She should not be the first or the last person your patients or will-be patients have to deal with. Doesn’t give your clinic a good impression.

This place is incredible. The ambience is cozy and makes you feel at home. The desk nurses are warm and polite. Appointment was on time. Doctor Saira Markovic was really incredible. I was scared of removing my IUD as I went to My family doctor first and he couldn't even find it. She started the procedure and i prepared for the pain closing my eyes tight when she told me with a very endearing accent: what is it ? I removed it already! It was quick, painless and absolutely incredible. I saw many bad reviews and was hesitant, but I will definitely be going back to this clinic if I need too. 5 starts is not enough!!!

I definitely had an amazing experienced. Me and my boyfriend decided to take an IUD for myself. I was a little anxious because I watched a procedure on youtube and read other people’s review saying how painful it was. From the time of consultation with a nurse explaining the different type of IUDs and it’s side effects and benefits, it was well explained. I was always having a hard time swallowing a pill but the nurse patiently waited for me and she gave me a new tylenol cause the first one melted in my mouth. The actual procedure took less that 2 minutes. I was having a fun conversation with the Doctor while she was inserting it to me and I didn’t even feel it at all. No pain, no cramps, nothing! It was quick and I didn’t even have to stay in the recovery room. The only thing I didn’t like was lady answering the phone call. When I booked my appointment, she was in a rush and seemed like there were 1 million people on hold that she has to talk to. I had more questions but she was like, “that’s your appointment day, okay? Okay, bye!” But over all, great! Will recommend this clinic!

I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I should. I was VERY anxious for my IUD procedure and was panicking a little bit. The nurses and doctors all were very reassuring, even some of the nice women at the clinic. One of the nurses held my hand and talked me down, and another helped me get back up and ready to move into a different room. In that room, following the procedure, they provided some cookies and water and any ice packs or towels that were needed for other women. It was a truly amazing experience to feel so supported and cared about and witness other women have this experience as well. Thank you!
