Nice little spot. Good atmosphere small vibe. Food was mediocre, lacking seasoning and flavours were a little un balanced. Burgers and lobster roll were great. Eggplant missed texturally entirely. Cool ideas, just needed better execution.

Firstly, I have to say that they serve up a great cup of coffee. We had two refills. Two thumbs up to Ace the provider of that brew. Classic diner interior. No nonsense, order, pay, eat, get out. Secondly, the portions and taste were just right. Typically brunch places heap the hashbrowns onto the plate to increase the serving size but in this case the hashbrowns were not just very complimentary but might even share some of the spotlight. We had the two brunch dishes with eggs (Royale, Mortadella) and gave the Lobster roll a try but it really wasn't my kind of thing. This was all washed down with a delicious bowl of Tomato bisque - and I don't even like Tomato bisque. Well done, Wilfred's. Well done. Wilfred's was very accommodating to us as parents of a newborn, as well. It was easy to get in and out with our stroller and Boyd at the counter even offered to keep an eye on it for us. Since it was safely kept behind the door, slightly out our line of sight due to not wanting to block the corridor or entrance to our adjacent table.

I ordered the pastrami & egg with a side of grapefruit brΓ»lΓ©e and there was nothing special about the taste. However, the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere for a brunch date and has friendly staff. Make sure to grab a scoop of Made by Marcus on your way out as it is located inside Wilfred's.

i loved the burgers and onion rings! the restaurant has a very cute interior as well :) unfortunately the mac n cheese was not great, it didn't taste like cheese at all and all the sauce just pooled at the bottom :( i hope they make changes to the recipe soon because right now it tastes more bland than kraft dinner with some pepper sprinkled on top lol. overall we had a great experience!

Clean, fresh interior. Awesome looking brunch and lunch menu, with a nice little assortment of cocktails I'd like to try next time. I had the grilled cheese with ham and tomato soup, which was fantastic. Great service and general feel at this place.

Tried their brunch on a sunday. It's pay and serve system so you need to grab the menu decide at your table and then order your food at the counter. The food is delivered by a server when its ready. We ordered lobster roll, royal with egg, and egg and morty. The foods were great. Their mimosa was so so but coffee was good. It can be also refilled which was nice. The servers were kind and helpful. The only issue was that their space was pretty tight. The tables were small and close to each other.

Meh, it’s okay. Like others said the interior lost it’s magic when they got rid of that whimsical wallpaper. But for me the food is all I really care about, and it was just okay. Lobster roll is good, for around Edmonton, and I’d have that again. I wouldn’t get the Mac n cheese again. It was in a very runny sauce almost like a bechamel. The hot honey chicken chicken fried sandwich received mixed reviews at our table. One person loved it and one person thought it was too sweet. Fries were a hit all around. Milkshakes were not thick. Over all, it’s worth a try if you want comfort food, and prices are okay.

I didn't know anything about this place and accidentally came across it on social media and am so glad I did. The atmosphere was awesome, kind of a new age diner, very clean and bright. They have a small kids menu, my boy (3 yo) had the grilled cheese and fries and loved it. I had the Wilfred's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich ($18) with onion rings ($2 up charge from fries or salad), It was delicious, SLOPPY (ask for extra napkins) but delicious! They will ask if you want it mild or spicy, I got it spicy and it really wasn't that hot at all. It looks like they have a nice selection of adult beverages including 3 taps that support 3 different local breweries. This place is a must check out and a place I will definitely be back to check out and taste more of their menu.
