N	Noor Dawood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hated this place and I had my worse experience. 1. the cottage was dirty 2. BBQ wasn't working and I had to wait more than 24 hours to get new one. 3. Rude management. 4. only one Kayak available. you better save your money and find better please even if you pay little more.

I booked there based on friend's suggestion and the website description which turned out to be just fantasies. I drove 3 hours for this piece of neglect. The place is crumbling. We rented 2 cottages 8 and 9. Both were in appalling state of neglect and in desperate need of repair. In cottage 8 the fridge and the washroom flush were not working. The paint is peeling. We got transfer to cottage 5 and stayed in 9. The screen net in cottage 5 was broken and the door didn't lock well. The stove in 9 didn't work. The premises itself is so boring no activities at all. It promised fun activities for the kids but it was all a scam. The boats screamed neglect. The playground is broken down. Above all, the rudeness and unhelpful Ness of the owner makes u feel so unwelcome as if u r a trespasser. Waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I wonder even how r they allowed to be operating under such false advertising.They sell park permits 10 dollars per person, absolute nonsense when it is sold at the park per car not per person. They want to sneak money out of you anyhow. And we are 2 families we don't drink or smoke or did any noises. The best moment in our stay was when we were leaving. We didn't even spend our second night

Close to Algonquin West gate and Huntsville. Kid friendly. Thanks Jenny and Jason and family for revitalising the resort I have so many memories of as a child.

Our cottage consisted of a dining/living area, a bedroom and a bathroom. It was easy enough to keep the place warm even at low temperatures outside. The owners were friendly enough to give us a high-chair for the baby.

The cottage was clean and organized with all your basic necessities, all you really needed to bring was food. You have your own fire pit, free usage of kayaks and canoes and literally ten feet away from the lake. The evening view is spectacular!:) Jason was very helpful with whatever we needed and put a lot of work into these cottages. Pay no mind to previous reviews!!! We had asked Jason about the reviews and his story was completely different about the previous troublemaking visitors. They had left the cottages in shambles from their partying and had been asked to leave. Do not be discouraged! You will not be disappointed!:)
B	Becky Tzagadouris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay was fantastic! Under new ownership, the cottages have undergone repairs and a sense of pride and community has been restored. There is a lot to do for all, including a new, amazing climber for children, water trampoline and slide, fully stocked rec hall, kayaks, paddle boats and more! The beach is right outside the cottage doors and the lake is lovely. The view is serene and there is plenty to do with Algonquin park very close by, as well as towns such as Huntsville. You will not be disappointed with your stay at White Birches!

Staying at cottage #2 was amazing because we were right beside the shore and close to the nice dock. The free kayaks/canoes were a great bonus. The cottage itself is good for your needs, but I didn’t go there for the lavish lifestyle - I went there to enjoy the outdoors. Having your own fire pit was also a major plus (some other places have a communal fire pit, which isn’t something I prefer). It’s also very close to Algonquin and they were able to provide cheaper Algonquin passes for me! $10/day where as it’s $18/day if you buy it from Algonquin. Would I go there again? Definitely!
