★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband found Lakewood’s online as we were looking for a cabin for a few days’ hiking near Algonquin Park. Our cabin (#3) was amazing and perfect for 2 people. Very clean, comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen (nothing missing). Will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good for family with kids. Well maintained and huge lawn with 2 playground ( 1 toddler playground behind cabins and 1 playground at lake^_^). So many kayaks and canoes to choose. Very clean and well equipped cabin. Convenient location, only 5 minutes drive to west gate of Algonquin park. We go together with 6 families there and really enjoyed the stay. We will recommend this resort to our family and definitely come back in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabin is small and quaint. Perfect home base for your next Algonquin adventure. Beds are good, bathroom is bright, kitchen is tidy and well stocked with pots and appliances. Owner is friendly. These people have a great well run business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All kitchen supplies is in stocked. You don’t have to bring your own. very clean. The owners are very friendly, if your lucky sometimes a tactical plane does past by. Beach have all paddle boats, canoe and kayaks etc. with life jackets. There is also lawn games and playground on the beach, beach toys. Volleyball net. Also baby play ground and small ride on for little one to used. At the back of the cabins. Shampoo and conditioner you should bring. They only provide soap and dish soap. It very stress free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in the winter. Super cute, cozy, clean, warm cabins. Good prices. Just wish you had the option of booking only one night if you’d like to. Dog friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabin was simple, comfy and well furnished, with every dish we needed to make our meals. Other appliances such as slow cooker were available for use if we needed them. Gas fireplace was lovely. Beautiful view of Oxtongue Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location, minutes from Algonquin. The cottages are homely, and furnished with everything you could need for a few days away. The private beach and included amenities seal the deal. Oh, and it's dog friendly too! A must stay if you're visiting the park.
