The only reason it has only 4 stars has nothing to do with the cabins themselves or the staff - which is very helpful and kind - but with the fact that the cabins are very close to Highway 60. You can hear the cars from the highway even in the most remote one.

It’s hard to travel since I have a small dog and this place was perfect because it’s pet friendly. They had a nice beach front which is really all that mattered to me. The owners were great because they were always available to answer any questions about the area and sites to see for any day trips. It was special because the owners son had a firework show to celebrate the long weekend. Overall, we loved our stay and we will be going back.
J	JL Weatherbee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time OLC, and will return. Cottages come fully equipped, they even have a BBQ and fire pit, and coffee maker. The owners are hassle free and they collect the garbage and recycling daily. We especially loved that we could bring our dog, and that they have an off leash swimming area for them! It was so nice to be able to bring our entire family, and not have to leave Fido at home. Beds were comfortable, the fridge worked great and the cottage was warm. The shower was hot and the stove worked just fine. They supply toilet paper, outdoor chairs, and dish soap. It was nice not to have to pack all the extra 'little things'. We just had to bring our own paper towel and wood for a bonfire. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely return! Thanks, Guy, for making our stay one for the books.

And since we dint get a car, the staff was helpful enough to get us wood. The best part is, you get to use Kayak, Canoe, and paddle board all included in the cottage package. Look no further! You will have a great stay here.

T	Tab C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did major construction the entire weekend on one of their cottages. All the guests were talking about it down at the beach - I honestly can't believe they did that. Loud machines going all day from morning to night. Why they didn't do that in the off season or during the week is beyond me. I will not be booking again. They need to understand that this isn't their family cottage anymore - you now have guests. And the managers dog kept coming onto our deck and begging for food - it was so bizarre. It could be a great place, but they need to work on their customer service or the place will not last.
