Welcome to our waterfront Cottage, Campground and RV resort located on crystal clear Lake Mindemoya, Manitoulin Island. Our resort offers over 18 acres of private groomed recreational area which includes a softball diamond, a volley ball court, horseshoe pit, bonfire pit and bicycle trails.

Let your children safely explore the wonders of nature worry free in our private setting away from traffic.

Recreational activities are limited only by your imagination - with beautiful Lake Mindemoya footsteps from your cottage or campsite.

You will discover an extensive picnic area with a BBQ , a children's play area, where children can play happily on the swings, tire swing, in the sand box and play house.

For your enjoyment, participate in the planned activities including a weekly BBQ for all guests; softball game 'Chipmunks Vs Beavers', volleyball game and bonfire.

Enjoy leisurely walks or cycle around our beautiful private nature trail nestled amongst the 100+year old Maple forest.

The resort features a swimming area with the only deep water diving board in the area and private floating swim platform. Public sandy beach is located a short walk from our resort which is perfect for the smaller children.

Minutes away from our resort in the town of Mindemoya, enjoy golfing, shopping, major grocery store with LCBO, full service garages and three restaurants for dining out.

In the evenings, observe the stars. Manitoulin Island is famous for its “Dark Sky” affording an amazing Stargazing experience. Manitoulin Island night skies are an unforgettable, breathtaking experience, one which you will never forget. The night skies of Manitoulin are a beacon to astronomers from all over the world.

Island hop, as you approach Manitoulin Island, Northern Ontario, Canada, from the North Shore of Lake Huron, the Bahamas of the North for sailing. Encounter unspoiled splendor along the ever changing shoreline.

Best Campground in Canada

R	Rafal Kusiak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground was very quiet and enjoyable. The views from the waters edge from any spot on this campground are breathtaking . Sunsets are always setting perfectly for you while you camp. The sites were a bit small and hard to get into but if your good with your trailer you are set. The owners or the management are very nice people . They go above and beyond to make your experience amazing. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone.

The owners are the best hosts that I know and that's why we keep coming back year after year and the feeling is that we're coming home. The place is super clean and very well organized. The landscape is greatly maintained. You can rent a boat or take a boat tour of Mindemoya Lake... paradise for fishermen! The sunsets you can watch from the deck are the best you might ever witness ?

Kim was very helpful. the cleanest washrooms and great maintenance and friendly staff , also enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets at the lake. it’s close by to the public beach too which was convenient. clear lake water and would love visiting the place again.
P	Pat Dowe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campground and location is very nice. It was quiet, and there looked to be a fair bit for kids to do. It's really the cabin that was poor. There was simply nothing cozy or comfortable about it. It had all the kitchen appliances and tools needed - the usual assortment you would find from garage sales etc. The sofa (that pulls out into a bed) had absolutely no support anymore either sitting or lying. The chair in the room wasn't much better. The beds were ok, but had an underlying odor as did the chest of drawers in the room. The water may have been potable but it had a horrible taste and left a film / scum when used for tea or coffee so we ended up buying water. Bring ALL your supplies. In all the times we have travelled and rented places this was the first place that did not provide scrubbers to clean pots, dish cloths or dish towels. There was a little container to provide the first day or two of dish soap, but it was empty. The "modern 3 piece bath" they claim on their website for 2 bedroom cottages is a joke. The cheapest, bottom of the line utilities are used - screws in the wall to serve as hooks. On the 4th night we went to use the bbq and the propane tank was empty. We rented cottage #6 which is advertised as pet friendly. What is not noted is there is an extra charge if you do bring a pet.

I sent a message through the website left 2 emails, called 3 days in row during business hours was hung up on twice left voicemails and nothing. They simply ignoring my efforts. The website states lots of availability but I cannot for the life me get anyone to speak with me to confirm anything. Just disappointing..

It is a pleasure to enjoy the rain from the covered terrace, sunbathing or contemplating the amazing starry sky from the deck or snuggle up with a good book in the charming cottage. Peace and quiet times alternate with activity of the children on the playground or sport activities. Enough room to socialize around the fire pit or to watch the amazing sunset from the lake. Great place to be!
