Whistler Peak Lodge by Vacasa

This property has the worst acoustics I've ever dealt with during a hotel stay. If someone is in the hall talking at normal volume, they might as well be in your room. This is fine during the day, but at 1:30am when you're trying to sleep - it's a problem. My boyfriend and I stayed from Friday to Sunday in room 315. Our sleep overnight from Friday to Saturday was choppy due to the fact that our room faces the courtyard. With people walking through at all hours talking, their voices bounce/echo off the walls and into your room (whether your windows are open or not) If you end up in a room that does not face the courtyard, this is obviously not an issue - but a NUMBER of rooms do. Our sleep from Saturday to Sunday was non-existent. We were first woken up at 1:30am to a couple standing outside in the hall talking on their cellphone. I think they were meeting someone who actually stays at the hotel, but that person hadn't returned yet. I politely poked my head out and the woman apologized, but the man approached me and asked if I 'wanted a hug' which made me feel unsafe and scared to confront someone again personally. Continually, people would come through our hallway - talking, waking us up. At 4:00am my boyfriend had had enough and opened our door and shouted at the two guys to 'Keep it down' - at that point I called front desk and spoke to Raj who was understanding and said he would notify the security guard. No guard came by as far as we were aware. The noise continued until 5:30am where we heard a group leave from our hallway to outside in the courtyard. In the morning, I spoke with Elliot who is a manager and I will say that his approach was so sincere and kind. However, the great staff like Elliot and Raj really have zero ways to combat this very real problem. The property managers need to address this issue. It should not be left up to your guests to try to police each other because something eventually will happen that will result in serious consequences for you as the business operators. I hope you take this seriously. Also, this was the warmest room I have ever stayed in. We had to use the AC and keep the windows open (while it was snowing) to cool the temperature down enough to be comfortable. Lastly, the bathrooms are old and are not cleaned as deeply as required. The bathtub in particular looks rough. For a little bit more money we could have stayed somewhere else and avoided all of this - I recommend you do not make the same mistake we did.

Aging facility, and it shows. Worn carpeting, broken window latches, faucet that spins on the countertop. Non-existent ventilation - smelled like coffee after being out for 7 hours. No towel bars in w/c. Beds were comfortable, but pictures do NOT match description. Pictures and description seemed to indicate a suite with 1 bedroom and a living room. What we got was a room with a bed and no sofa. Disappointingly deceptive.

Great location, but expensive given you have to trek through the spa in your ski gear to get to the hill. Main elevator was out of service and wasn't going to be fixed until April. The electrical outlets in the kitchen were in dangerous locations and unacceptable for families with young children. Staff were friendly and customer service was good.

This was an excellent place to stay a couple days at!! The room had a mini kitchen, a fireplace, a table with chairs, closet, full bathroom with bathtub... They even have a hot tub near the gym!!! It's a really nice place where I hope I can stay again.

I spend 3 nights in this hotel. Everything in the room is as good as it shows on the website. Great location, water is hot enough, the staffs are very nice as well. However, just in front of the hotel, there is a pizza shop opens at night. So people were gathering there talking, singing until late. If you need quite place to sleep, perhaps you could ask for a room which is not face the street. Besides, we found a left sock beside our bed, the room service may have to take more care.

The unit was clean and comfortable, the gas fireplace next to the bed was a lovely touch, and the kitchen made it easy to choose whether or not we wanted to eat out. The location was ideal for access to restaurants and shops as well as ski lifts. Almost everything is within a 5 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my family’s second time staying here. Both times have been great! I really appreciate the staff for diffusing a party that was happening next door to us. It was 3am and it woke up my kids. I called the front desk and within 10 minutes I heard security come up and speak with the people inside. Other than that, I love the location and the comfort of the room. Would definitely stay here again!

I haven't stayed at the property yet, I am reviewing my experience with Vacasa. I had a third-party booking at Whistler Peak Lodge, non-refundable of course, then we all got Covid. I just assumed I would be out of luck with my booking, which was to commence the next day. One simple phone call to Vacasa and I was given a credit for a future stay and wished a speedy recovery. Super decent of them and I really appreciate that I've been able to rebook for next weekend. Thank you for the excellent customer service. Edited to review room. Stayed in 4408 and it was perfect, everything you need for a weekend away. Great value, excellent location.
