S	SOOAA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came into the lodge with my family and family friends, we were all so excited to just get disappointed. There were strict instructions about very petty things such as “do not have hairdryer and phone charger plugged together” the least im expecting from a hotel is to be able to have couple things plugged in. Is the electricity so weak to the point where we’d have a power outage within 5 minutes of entering the place? Also the customer service here was terrible. We called in to have some solutions about the power outage, they just bluntly ended the call after trying to blame us about using too much power, then proceeded to try and get evidence that we used “too much power” by texting. I’d honestly give this place a 0 star but google won’t let me.
R	Robert Barry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location can't be beat. But that is kind of useless when people are allowed to yell in the streets till 2:45 in the morning on weekdays. It ruins the next day of skiing if a person can't sleep. This is the second night in a row. I will not be staying here again. This was written at 2:45am on a very early Thursday morning. I am listening to idiots yelling for yelling's sake in the street below our rental right now.
Y	Your Friend at the Beach on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As others have said the location cannot be beat. As for our particular unit #11, no real complaints with the unit itself. Well appointed, nice electronics comfortable bed. But I will never come back. Since it lacks a elevator (which is no big deal) all guests are required to use the stairs. The door to the stairs is about 10 feet from our unit. EVERY time a guest arrives or departs the door slams- loudly. The same for all the condo entrance doors. This starts about 630 am and goes on until late at night. I believe all the door closer's can be adjusted for a softer close but this is not the case at this time. This makes it impossible to really relax. As for the late night noise outside it is pretty loud but we knew this when we booked so we brought ear plugs and that solved the outside noise issue. There are 3 bars right under or across the street, Mojo's, Tapleys, and The Beacon Pub which is directly across from our bedroom window and is where most the late night noise comes from. They have a outdoor patio and it is pretty lively at night. Having the grocery store and liquor store in our building is a real plus, and it's about a 4 minute walk to the gondola. We will come back to Whistler but will not stay at The Hearthstone Lodge.

Adequately supplied with all relevant amenities, it really does function as a home away from home. Highly recommended for everyone, whether you are looking for a quiet time with the family or an adventure packed holiday. We'll be back here in the winter for sure ?
