★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad experience! The room was frozen cold, tried to contact front desk to get it resolved, every time was promised that someone is coming to rectify but no one ever came! The staff seems to be overwhelmed and over worked and looks like has been years they smiled ever...the hotel is overpriced looking at the kind of rooms and the room air conditioners, seems they are still using those from 1970s. Was surprised when I was informed that there is no temperature control inside the room, you have to call up the front desk to set the room temperature!!
Regarding the room, found hair on the towel, the bedsheets not clean at all, had to request for tea bags and was literally ordered to come to front desk and pick it...when your prices are among highest, the least one can expect is some teabags and sugar in room to prepare tea. But seems it's a cheap strategy to not to place tea pouch etc to save few bucks as not everyone will go to frontdesk to get a teabag.
Overall, very very bad experience, would not recommend!

Negative: Room had no heat control, but we were able to turn it off (it was 25 degrees), and staff brought us a fan, and one of the windows opened. Parking lot extremely full and kind of sketchy. We were disappointed the pool and fitness room were not open

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 1 night for the hockey game.Room was clean & quiet, bed was comfortable. Front desk staff friendly. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Parking attendant when we frst arrived was great too. Will stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The jacuzzi suite was so big and luxurious! While the bathroom had some dated counters and floors the jacuzzi tub was very nice, clean and worth the extra splurge. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The complimentary breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. Hot items like eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and waffle makers. Wasn't expecting it to be that good. I will definitely stay again as a staycation with a friend of visiting relative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could leave zero stars I would have. 3 night stay and the room was not made up once and got locked out of our room 4 separate times. Orest was the only bright spot of the stay, after 4 times locked out came and changed out the key card reader. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay there again. We are going to recommend that Volleyball Canada not use this hotel for future Nationals events. Many other families from our team had even more disgusting pictures of stains and unclean rooms. Also when hosting that many Volleyball teams why not have breakfast available before teams leave for the day? Website says grab bags would be available, when we asked that was flat out refused. The one day we were locked out my wife poked her head into a room to ask a maid for assistance. She was sitting on the bed on her phone not cleaning. Certainly helps explain the state of the hotel.

The breakfast was a nice surprise--good sausages, waffles and eggs, etc. The windows in the room were very dirty and hard to see through, there was dirt and crumbs on the window sill, but the sheets and bathroom were clean. The curtains were broken and hanging off the rack. Our room was on the 2 floor and the noise from the bar below was quite loud until the early hours of the morning. When we talked to the staff about this we were given a quick apology and that was it.
Overall, this would have been a suitable hotel if we had paid $80 for it, but for the price we were quite disappointed. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, friendly, and very hospitable. Sharyl was the host and she helped us with anything we needed, friendly greeting, and was great with other guests; five stars for her and would come back. The room was great and great view. Comfortable rest as well, great location!

Thanks to staff who were working while I had my stay! You all played a huge part in making it perfect!! Just what I needed! ?
