Usually have a pretty good experience with these guys but my latest customer experience was not good. I had purchased a car seat the week prior and then noticed it went on sale. I hadn't even opened the product yet. I called and asked for a price adjustment, but they refused saying they were told not to do price adjustments this week. Will choose other online retailers over these guys from now on.

My first experience with West Coast Kids and it was a nightmare, I ordered an infant car seat and matching stroller mid November. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. At 7 weeks, I called to follow up, lady on the phone told me it is taking a little longer than expected and to call at 8 weeks because nothing had arrived yet and there was no update on their end. I called the following week, a lady told me she would look into it for me and get back to me. I didn't hear anything for a few days so I called back again, at this point I was told that a shipment had come in but it did not have any of my order on it so they would look into it again and get back to me. The next day I was told that the shipment did have my infant car seat but DID NOT have my stroller as it was discontinued. At this point, I am very confused because I am not sure how this shop is selling products on behalf of other companies but isn't being told or isn't aware of when things are discontinued or are not going to be delivered when they have been ordered and paid for, especially after 8 WEEKS OF WAITING. Not to mention I am 2 weeks from my due date so I really don't need to be stressing over all this when my baby could arrive at any moment. The lady told us to come in and we could discuss options. I went in a few days later with my husband. We really felt like no one cared about our situation and that they didn't take any accountability. "Maxi Cosi discontinued it so there really isn't anything we can do". I don't feel it's fair that they aren't taking responsibility for something that happened in THEIR store. One of the ladies tried to sell us on another stroller but we wanted to keep the same brand as we had already bought the infant car seat to go with it and didn't want to spend "just an extra $60 to buy stroller adapters". Then we were urged to buy the floor model and spend extra money because they would ONLY sell the floor model with the duo seat that is typically a sold-separate attachment. They were on the phone with the District Manager who only offered a $70 discount off their floor model which was honestly offensive as it was dirty and clearly in a very used condition. After a lot of back and forth, we took a refund and left. I would NEVER go back and will tell everyone I know not to go there. There is a big lack of accountability and understanding, everything is over priced and there is a huge lack of customer service. After 8 weeks + of waiting, this is the sad result and I am very frustrated and upset. Went to Buy Buy Baby afterwards, had the best customer service as per usual and bought a new stroller. Highly recommend using them instead! Always so great to deal with and even if you have to order something online, it never takes long to arrive.

I was blown away by the wonderful service that I received at the West Coast Kids southeast location today from Shirley. She was very patient and helped explain to me the details of different strollers. She was extremely kind. I will definitely be back!!

Customer service was great! I purchased an expensive stroller from West Coast not long ago that had a manufacturers defect on the seat mechanism. When I did not hear back from the manufacturer and their phone line was not working I contacted West Coast Kids and Karen the manager immediately got back to me and worked with the manufacturer to resolve the matter for me. She was very friendly and polite during the whole experience and I would definitely trust buying an expensive item from West Coast again.

I’m a mom of two young kids and anytime I need any gear (or shoes!) for them, West Coast Kids is always my first stop! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and sweet. I went in today to pick up a new convertible car seat for my son, I love how excited the staff there were for me, they’ve watched my two kids grow up and have shared the big milestones with us as we get new car seats, potty’s etc.! I am so excited to see the renovation! Thanks Amy, Sam + Team for all your help!!

I had an excellent experience today with Shirley who expertly walked me through every possible double stroller... She spent an hour and a half answering every question I had (price, weight, adapters, compatible car seats, folding and removing seats, etc etc) with ease. She never once made me feel pressured to buy anything and encouraged me to do some more research too. I will definitely be back to get my stroller here and so value the time and patience she extended to me today.

We were thrilled when working with Karen at West Coast Kids! She is very knowledgeable about their products. She does not push you to buy the most expensive items, but shows you the items that fit your lifestyle and budget. It was a breath of fresh air to have someone so honest, who helped educate us during this very new experience. We will be returning to work with her again.
