Walmart Supercentre

Vision Centre - a one star rating is being kind. I ordered my glasses at this location on February 13, 2020 and they took 2 weeks to come in. First issue, the lined bifocal was positioned too high up on the lens which resulted in another 2 weeks wait time while this was corrected. Second issue, I did not order tinted lenses but the right lens was tinted and wearing them outside in public was embarrassing. Third issue, the screws in the frames kept falling out which resulted in the lens falling out and becoming scratched. I would then have to painfully keep putting the tiny screw back in, using a pair of my old glasses just to see. I did not have any coverage for the glasses and had been laid off work due to COVID. The glasses cost me $245 and the manager at the Vision Centre did not do a thing to resolve this. I demanded a brand new pair of glasses in spite of all these issues and he flat out refused, stating I had to take them back and have them sent away. I then spent 2 months trying to contact Walmart customer service and eventually gave up. I have recently replaced my glasses, at my own expense once again because I was both embarrassed to be seen wearing them and frustrated with constantly having to fix the frames. As someone who has over 20 years in customer service, Walmart has the lowest form and in this situation, the manager I dealt with is lacking in people skills. He also struggled with even attempting to salvage this situation by hiding behind the "Walmart policies". I understand policies are in place but when you sell me something that was this bad, step up and BE A MANAGER! Do better Walmart!

Huge store size with many different areas and displays that appeal to your eye. Many great sales and deals for health/ beauty, clothing/ shoes, groceries, home decor/ improvement/ outdoor items, stationary, electronics as well as awesome seasonal products.

Terrible store, shelves empty, every time I go for something they don’t have it. Never seem to restock . Not going back will go to another one. Price on Dawn dish liquid said $1.30 so I bought 3 , charged me $2.77 forgot to check when I was checking out so have to take them back now.

Great selection, clean well stocked store with good organization. Friendly helpful staff, plenty of parking, reasonable prices. Plastic bags no longer available at this location, remember to bring your own.

Great store to shop. Remember that on holidays when they're closed and you go the next day it's gonna be busy. They handle it very well you have to be patient. There produce and food is amazing. They have a great variety of videos and of videos and books and kids stuff and DVD's

If I to see if there were any sale items I'd like after Christmas. Unfortunately there was very little. Clothes sizes were all mixed up and there were regular priced items on the clearance rack. There should be sufficient staff to tidy up the clothing racks and ensure that the clearance each had only clearance items on them. The items on sale were bad quality items that the customer would never buy. Some clothes I wouldn't take even if they were free. The meat section was looked after properly. Probably run by experienced staff. The toilet paper section had prices confusing to the customer. Some brands like Charmin had a sale price on the shelf however I was told that they were back to their regular price since a week ago . The $5 cakes had their best before date stickers removed. There was a full refrigerator of these and I could see the left over glue from the stickers on the cake lids. Don't think I'll be back in the near future

One of your produce associates named KARAN found my sister-in-law’s 100$ cash on the ground and gave it to customer’s service. After finding out we had lost the money, we immediately called customer service to see if someone had found it and gave it in. As many families across Canada are struggling financially because of the Pandemic, finding 100$ on the ground, at a Wal-Mart, seems too good to be true. KARAN, instead of keeping the money, gave it to customer service. I was so endeared by Karan’s kindness and good character, I was compelled to write a review personally to Wal-Mart. I can tell Karan does his work at Wal-Mart with honesty and integrity. People like Karan are what makes the world a better place, and make you believe there are moments of hope still during this pandemic. Karan displayed this at your store #3127 in Ancaster, Ontario. I hope Karan's act of service is rewarded and recognized, extraordinary moments such as these deserve recognition. I am happy to write more in detail if you should need. I was so appreciative of his kindness during a time of collective struggle and grief, acts of kindness such as this really put into perspective that people’s kindness remains the silver lining of our future. This Walmart is a Supercenter that has within it a pharmacy, Garden Center, Sleep Country, McDonald's, Photoshop, grocery supermarket and the usual departments for a Walmart. What I don't like and what I will not participate in is self-checkouts I in no way support undermining people's employment to a corporation that needs to improve its reputation with the working person. I can go to other places if this growing Trend continues.
