Awful... i do not recommend, the wait is hell especially when the receptionist calls your name once, you can barely hear her when she announces and when you didn't hear it the first time they move on to calling a different patient. If she ever did go to school for this job your suppose to call out the name twice loud and clear! The medical field is not an easy place to work at especially if you guys are busy or short staffed but that's part of it, and it's really inconvenient for us the sick patients who are willing to wait. My son and I checked in at 11:50am and she said it's an hour wait we came back at 12:30pm waiting and we were seen at 2:00pm. Because she only announced my sons name once and she didn't even bother looking in the waiting area to say it again. Also when we were seen by the doctor I asked what was wrong and she told me the problem I asked later what caused it and and other medical questions she just told me to look it up on google...

I am sorry I don't want to sound rude with the feedback, but here is what happened. The clinic was supposed to be open until 6pm, there wasn't any doctors available and it was closed early by around 3:30. I believe medical clinics are supposed to serve people who aren't keeping well and it's not unlike any restaurants or any other business which could close when there is no customers coming in. I do understand every one has a life but the doctors need to be available at emergency time.

I have my own doctor but they were too busy to take me, and told me to go to a walk in clinic. I know how busy some of the walk in clinics are, and since I had an appointment at Re-Balance for physio, I thought I am going to try the Uptown Walk In Clinic. The receptionist was excellent, and I could tell with my wise old years that she is a great multitask er and reminded me of days gone by, so good to see such excellence in action. This clinic is fortunate. I did not have to wait very long, and was in a room and was then greeted by this awesome and personable Dr. Kathryn Stitt. She introduced herself and did state she was a fill in doctor at the clinic. I found Dr. Stitt to be "genuine" which is not a word often used with busy doctors in clinics. She had an expressed interest in my concern regarding my eyes, she listened patiently, to what I had done to date to try and get the irritation to go away. She did not scold me for using Polysporin for my eyes, as I have been chided in the past for trying to fix something on my own, she simply acknowledged and wrote out the prescription. On a scale of 1 to 10 if I were to choose a family doctor based on that visit - she would get a 10+. There is much to say in how a doctor delivers their services to a patient, and how a patient interprets if they are truly understood. At my wise old age, I both know and I have experienced the difference. So good on your Uptown for having Dr. Stitt as one of your walk in doctors. And Dr. Stitt, I wish you nothing but the greatest of success in your move to Vancouver Island - Welcome to this paradise. Donna

I came here to see a doctor in mid December, because the clinic I go to was full, and it was closing until Jan. I was supposed to switch to a new meds at that time, since the old one really messed me up, so that I could spend the winter break on getting used to the new meds before school started. However, the doctor told me to stick on my old meds and go back to my original doctor when the clinic was open again. She wouldn’t prescribe me the new meds because she didn’t know what to do if the new meds doesn’t work. Then she prescribed me the old meds instead. I was super disappointed. Also rude receptionist. Rolled her eyes when she couldn’t get my address right. I know it’s always busy here, but I don’t think it’s okay to throw that attitude to me when she’s stressed out. I already felt bad enough about my illness.

This doctor is the worst ever!!!!!! If anybody says differently their probably fake af reviews. They don't care about people it's only for the money!!! Save yoursef the humiliation of seeing a purebred narristic a hole who became a doctor just to rule power over people and treat them like trash. They will not help you. You've been warned. To this doctor and staff SHAME ON YOU!!! Be kind to people. ACT like you care just so you get more clients who aren't desperate. You should see a doctor for your lack of having a Flippin heart.

Dr. Chandler is one of the most competent doctors I’ve ever been treated by. Like most people in Victoria, I was unable to find a family doctor for many years. It was during this time that I started to go to uptown medical clinic and for continuity chose to see Dr. Chandler regularly. I am a person who needs to see a doctor at least twice a month so I’m not an easy patient to take on. Despite working from a walk in clinic, Dr. Chandler was able to provide an excellent level of care.

My doctor retired and I needed a medication renewal. I tried everything to get to a walk-in-clinic. I wrote to my MLA, Adrian Dix and the head doctor to no avail. I took a chance with the Walmart Clinic and booked an appointment so easily with a kind and compassionate doctor. I am so pleased.

if i was able to give them a zero, i would! seriously the worst. My mom had an appointment, the doctor did not care at all, and she did not even give any recommendations or a report, she did not fax my mom's pharmacy in order to order her medication. Also, my mom wanted to ask her about something else, she said that my mom need to ask for new appointment in order to tell her about her condition!! this is super silly and unprofessional. Would not recommend anyone to go to this clinic and waste their time.
