About Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Calgary by Jack Nathan Health

We wanted to play a bigger role in improving the Canadian health care system and we have done this by embracing best practices and aligning with industry leaders to create state-of-the-art medical clinics, both for patients and for doctors. We aligned with some of the most well-known and renown physicians, Chiefs of Staff’s, and allied services partners to become one of Canada’s largest medical health care networks, seeing more than 2 million patients annually across all provinces. We then built upon this success and aligned with Walmart Mexico, to deliver the high-quality medical experiences Jack Nathan Health is now synonymous with. Concurrently, we expanded beyond family practice, providing walk-in and urgent care services, specialist health care, dental and telemedicine services, and various health, wellness and rehab services through JNH MedSpa and JNH Rehab.

Both of the male doctors I've taken my sons to are completely indifferent to actually solving anything and are just looking to get you in and out and get paid. Twice I was told to just give my son orange juice when his cough had persisted for months.. I took him to a real doctor at cresent medical which actually checked him out and prescribed a nasal spray and now he's on the mend. I took my newborn son in to find out whether he had a blocked tear duct or an eye infection and the doctor didn't even look at him before prescribing eye drops, I took him to another doctor and found out it was in fact a blocked tear duct that cleared itself up. These people do not care about your children, just don't even go here.

The doctors are good but the reception staff are really not welcoming, do not expect a smile or a politeness, she refused to make an appointment with my family doctor telling me that it is not my family doctor!!! she gave me my health card and she went inside without telling me anything after 5 minutes of waiting I left the clinic and today she called me to tell me that I had my appointment today when I explains to her that it's not true she tells me that she will delete it and that she will no make an for me anymore and I’m not welcoming to this clinic. I'm really upset and sad to deal with people like that

I booked an appointment for my 8 year old son, there is something wrong with his tongue. Once arriving for the appointment he was refused care because we didnt have Alberta health and didn't have the money to pay. He is a child and I thought they dont refuse health care to children EDIT::::::::: after being denied by this walkin we called around and found a clinic NOT ASSOCIATED with this clinic and welcomed our son to see a doctor without being charged. During this pandemic you would think health care would be more open This location is only interested in getting your money and your health care

Shouldn't be called a walk in clinic when you don't take people second time they refused me. I beat the time with only 2 min to 12:02 they said to come back at 4pm so inconsiderate. Went to a different walk in and they accepted me. Front desk staff didn't have an mercy even after I told then I live far drove all the way there because that's where I usually go. Please change your sign from walk in to not walk in doesn't make sense

Absolutely terrible. Wrote me an incorrect prescription, didn’t explain what it was for at the clinic, wasn’t until after I paid at the pharmacy and got home and READ the medication fact sheet that I realized they gave me the wrong medication. Extremely concerning and dangerous.

Not very professional. Made and appointment for this Saturday March 5 on Wednesday, when I got to the clinic it was closed! They did leave a voice mail on Thursday but with no reason just "give us a call back". I assumed it was regarding that they don't refill prescriptions over fax which I got my pharmacist to do before I knew they did not accept that. No other contact was made to let me know the office was going to beclosed and my appointment canceled.

I didn't think clinics still charged for doctor's notes, but this one does ($20). Go to your GP if you need a note. Mine was booked for another week so I didn't have much choice and needed a note for post surgery healing (surgeon is now on Xmas holidays, so couldn't get a note from him either). Receptionist was great and handled herself so well with ornary patients. She's the only reason why they got more than one star.
