Normally I do not post. However, this time I have to. I recently visited the walk in and were rudely greeted by the front desk individual I believe her name was Ashlein or Ashley. She was completely unprofessional. She should not be front line customer service reception. I hope the owners review her performance and see that she may not be the right fit for this kind position. She should seek alternative employment in my mind. I wish her all the best.

Dr. Ali Zaidi should be reviewed by the Alberta health committee or so, he is making the worst practice of a physician. First of all, he rushed me and didn’t listen to what is going on with me. After I finished he told me only this without explanation (go to ER and wait they will take care of you), he left me talking and slammed the door on my face. He kicked me out gently. The same hour I went to another clinic, they took care of me and told me your case doesn’t require an ER. They run some tests on me and took my blood and asked to come again, I felt blessed. It’s shame that you have a Dr. In front of your name Ali Zaidi. You took an oath to treat patients equally. You are not doing your right job, but soon wait the destiny will turn on you. Our society doesn’t need people like that.

Upon our first meet and greet with Dr. Zaidi, he was respectful and courteous to answer our questions. Myself and my two teenage daughters received above par service from Dr. Zaidi and the Signature Medical Staff. We received thorough assessment and referrals required within the first couple appointments. One of my daughters required a major surgery in a matter of months after Dr. Zaidi diagnosed her because he knew what to look for and most importanly he took our concerns seriously. I am forever grateful.

I honestly can’t believe some of the reviews for Dr. Zaidi. Especially the parts about him lacking compassion? I have experienced nothing but compassionate and professional behaviour. He’s helping me through extremely difficult medical/mental health issues that a LOT of physicians don’t want to deal with, due to the fact that my conditions are usually stigmatized. Dr. Zaidi has also referred me to an excellent psychiatrist who changed my medication, and it’s been a big improvement. What some people may see as rushed, I see as efficiency. He doesn’t want to keep his patients waiting, and probably sees a lot of patients daily. It’s a catch 22 situation for doctors, for example: if Dr. Zaidi were to take up more time with every appointment, then everyone would be complaining about the wait times instead. Everyone is entitled to express their own experiences and opinions, but why do it in such harsh ways? Especially if you’re so concerned about “our society,” as one reviewer is. You don’t have to be rude to express your complaints about a doctor.. who is also a human being. I think that people frequently forget that. Anyways, my experiences/opinion is that he’s an excellent physician, and listens to whatever I have to say, therefore he’s what I consider to be thorough. He never leaves an appointment without asking me if I have any other questions or concerns. AND he’s efficient.. I’ve never had to wait long times at all, as I have at other clinics, and I’ve been to a lot. I’ve waited ridiculously long times at other clinics only to have the doctors dismiss, and ignore me, sometimes even make me feel belittled. Ironically for a condition that some doctors in the early 2000’s played a part in creating. As a patient, I try to be understanding and efficient in addressing my health concerns. It’s not just me, my entire family are patients here, and feel very well cared for by Dr. Zaidi. There have been times where I was having nervous breakdowns/panic attacks, and he still listened, and did what was needed to be done for my extended treatment. If that’s not compassionate, I don’t know what is. Also, the staff at the front desk are always polite and friendly. Lastly, the clinic as a whole is very clean/hygienic.

This is by far one of the worst experiences at a clinic I have ever had. Dr. Zaidi does not take his time to assess his patients or to ask them questions and to understand what they are dealing with, is very mechanical and lacks compassion. I was assessed for a concussion and was prescribed medication which he did not take the time to explain to me and that I later found out I did not need to take AT ALL. I cant even say assessed because I was asked a few short questions and was in an out of the appointment within 5 minutes. He made me feel like my injuries were not as significant as they actually were. I asked him to fill out some forms that my work required for disability leave and he initially refused even though he was the doctor that initially assessed me and I called ahead of time to ask if he even CAN fill them out. He then filled them out INCORRECTLY after I explained what needed to be completed and charged me 75 dollars for forms that I could not even submit to my insurance company. I didn't even want to go back and have it corrected I just ate the cost. I am in shock at the lack of customer service and compassion when dealing with individuals that are truly hurting and needing help. I cannot believe this is a teaching clinic and this is what future doctors have as an example. If you can avoid this clinic at all costs.

Looking at the reviews, I guess he used to be a caring good doctor with frequent 5 star reviews, but recently he turned into this rushing, disrespectful, cash-grabbing "doctor" with 0 star review. He has a sign posted in all his patient rooms that says it's AHS fault if you didn't get the medical treatment/attention you want because they lowered the doctor's cost so doctors can't give you the time you need. No it's YOUR fault for being rude and inconsiderate to people. If you don't like it anymore, do us a favor and stop practicing it. For my experience, it was similar to the recent reviews. Rushing, hostile, makes you feel worse than before you meet him with his attitude. You feel like you were objectified for the most part (come, pay, see the doctor, let him degrade you, leave). His staff is nice and welcoming nonetheless. As a researcher, I went down to see if I can find why he is like this. I noticed he is active on social media, but you could see him always screaming and complaining all the time in his accounts. Maybe it's time for him to abandon politics and switch back to being a good doctor, or leave medicine and become a politician. The two don't go along with him obviously.

"Dr. Zaida seems to be to rushed. I literally sat in the room for less than 2 minutes. He treats his patients as cash bags of money instead of actually taking the necessary time to make sure his patient is satisfied and understands what medical attention he needs. I’ve heard from more than one person this doctor doesn’t care about medical ethics only his pockets." Agree completely with this review.

I give this place a one star as zero isn't an option. Doctor wouldn't even see me unless I was willing to go next door at the pharmacy and pay $40 for a covid test even though I just had covid 3 weeks ago and was coming for lab results with sores from covid 3 weeks before. My opinion the doctor seems to be reaping some benefit from the over priced $40 covid test. I walked out in pain. Don't go here!!!
