I visited this business despite my better judgment. I wanted to see their quality for myself, I did not request a specific person and to be honest I'm not sure what the name of the employee was who did my nails. I removed them yesterday. So here's a breakdown of my experience, Upon entering everything seemed fine, I sanitized my hands and sat down ready for my appointment. the person doing my nails did not switch the Sandpaper bit off of her e-file before filing my natural nail, and it appeared like it had been used before on a separate client. She filed my nails before applying tips. Some of my nails are so thin right now after removal that I am in pain when I apply any pressure to 4/10 of my fingers. This shouldn't be the case. The tips were glued down in a way I have never seen or experienced before, I know everyone has their own technique but I believe the method of applying the nail and piling glue on top after the tips been secured was irresponsible and dangerous. I will say though, my nails lasted 14 days. I still sat silently as my nails were being done because I wanted to give them a fair chance. She applied the acrylic and had my place my hands under a Gel Lamp well the acrylic hardened. A completely unnecessary step that I believe could lead a person to think they were receiving a builder gel artificial nail instead of an acrylic. I had asked for what I would consider a novice level design. It was butchered. I left feeling embarrassed at the way my hands looked. No worries through - the next day my Polish started peeling off. When this happened I removed the gel Polish and applied a regular nail Polish on my nails. It was at this point I noticed that 3/10 of my nails were sticking off in odd directions, it was not a good look. All in all there were a lot of mistakes that I noticed and a lot of what I would consider irresponsible mistakes. I do not recommend this business my nails are beyond paper thin, they're not worth it.

My Hands are in pain! OMG do not go here! Honestly this is the ugliest my acrylics have ever turned out. The girls there were very nice, but hygiene is not something they practice. As she was filing my nails another employee came and took one of the tools she used on me to go use on another client. Also she was using a file to cut my cuticles and left my fingers bleeding, not only that but she got the acrylic all over my finger it was like superglue and it’s very painful to take off. As for the acrylics, it is so thick and misshaped. She glued the tips all wonky so my hands look weird and the top coat is uneven as heck. I really can’t imagine myself going back there or recommending it. I wish I spent the money on a mcChicken meal instead.

If I could leave less than one star, I absolutely would. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Every, single time I've had my nails done here, whether gel or just a shellac polish, the polish is literally soft and peeling off within days. The pictures included in this post are of a shellac manicure that I had done 1.5 weeks ago, that I went in to have fixed on Friday of last week. It's Wednesday, and this is the condition that my nails are in. When I went in and asked them to fix my nails, I was told that they don't have "time" to keep fixing my nails, offered me a refund (of a whopping $30) and told me that I was no longer welcome in the salon because, again, they don't have time to keep "fixing" my nails......ummm...then how about you actually take the time to do them the right way, the first time around?? Novel concept, I know. Easily the WORST customer service I have ever received. I can't say it enough...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have been going to Vo's Nails for about a year now and I have had no complaints until the last two visits, and I have been getting acrylic nails done for two years and have never had this happen. I got my nails done two weeks ago and a week in they were peeling really bad so I went back and I wanted a colour and shape change and they discounted me for that, which I appreciated. A week after my nails were peeling really bad again so I went back and I wanted to get my nails taken off for free, considering I had only had them done for around two weeks and already had to get the colour changed, and had paid quite a bit to get the original set and the redone colour and shape, and they refused to take them off for free or even for a discount, which is ridiculous considering if they weren't peeling I wouldn't want to get them taken off in the first place. They only would take the colour off for free which they also didn't fully take off. I'm incredibly dissatisfied in their service as well as their product quality.

Service was good, my nails looked good the day it was done but over the next week the polish started to slowly chipping away, perhaps it was the matt topcoat but regardless I am not happy with it. Staff was very kind I must say, they have good customer service, and price is average. Overall I was happy when I left just disappointed it did not last.
