From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service here is disgusting. First of all I ordered over $40 worth of food on Uber eats and they not only gave me two completely different meals but they also just decided to not even include 3 of the sides and also sent me the whipped cream in a cup without the pancakes? Wth? When I called to ask then why they didn't get any of the order right the rude woman on the phone just said "call Uber and ask " no apology she didn't even care that it was their fault and not Ubers, Uber wasn't the one making the food were they? Luckily Uber refunded me the whole order and gave me the food I did receive for free because there is no way I would give this restaurant any more of my money. Fire the woman and get some better customer service. Maybe then you'll be a decent restaurant.

Food/Drinks: fries were cooked well and seasoned nicely. The mac and cheese noodles are overcooked and under seasoned. The meatloaf had flavor but was pretty pasty. Also kinda weird that there was no vegetable with the dish.
Service: friendly staff and looked after us well. Checked in with us a good amount even though they were about to close. Did not feel rushed.
Atmosphere: older dinner feel. Dim lit dining room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming here for years and it is very good. I will definitely come again. It’s good for a couple or a larger group. Food was tasty. Service was fast and courteous although it took a little while longer than expected for the food. Prices are reasonable. I love it that breakfast is available all day. Had the eggs Benedict with spicy chorizo and liked it.

We’re back for Sunday breakfast and enjoyed it, although once again we had to wait longer than anticipated. It was busy but it should not have taken almost 45 minutes for our order. Today I had the steak and eggs and it was okay, the hash browns were mostly cold so was the toast. Quality is good and service was friendly and courteous. Coffee was warm. So overall it was okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by on a whim, pleasantly surprised, manager was very personable, sat down and chatted with us and joked around with the my little. Waiter was amazing, friendly and attentive. Food was very good as well. The Sunday that they made my guy was perfect, not crazy big; which was appreciated. Will definitely be returning and definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Veggie breakfast bowl…. Got this instead. Wasn’t able to go physically to return and get the correct item ordered due to time restraints at work and only got skip credits. Mistakes happen but this is quite a difference between a breakfast bowl of mixed items and an omlette… egg was always overcooked and very plastic like and did not eat. Other items in order were correct but main dish was certainly not correct.
