★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Won't shop here anymore. I wouldn't recommend to my family or friends either. The air of paranoia permeates this place. I get it. You have theft. But maybe instead of standing on top of me, you could instead talk to me and try being useful. There's a much more professional and helpful liquor store a few blocks up Jasper. Go there if you don't want to feel like a criminal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hate the ID scanning process. The entry way is a tiny claustrophobic box and the scanning process isn’t quick and it quickly became congested and stressful. Horrible experience, just turned around and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all it's a run of the mill liquore store so it's really not worth writing a review. However, my recent ID scanner experience made me want to not return here ever again. I get that theft has been a huge problem, but instead of addressing the core of the problem at the social level, the police encourages the stores to add these scanners and the stores are happy to do it. Now you have two doors to get through, with the second door being locked and supposedly opening when you scan your ID. OK so I put my ID on the scanner once, twice, three times... nothing, always the same error message. Meanwhile the employee is not even acknowledging the problem. Having decided not to waste any more of my time I walked away never to return. This is simply preposterous. There are other liquor stores in the area and if there weren't it wouldn't bother me. I just don't buy it, I'm not that desperate for a boozy treat.

They should have informed consent communication at the very least so people know they are STORING your data for a specified period of time. We asked different employees and no one knew how long they store your sensitive info for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As other people have said, the new ID scanner has made me want to go to other locations.
Had one bad experience when I wasn't even done scanning my ID, an impatient and rude couple decided to enter and were extremely rude and hostile to me that I was taking too long. Can't wait 5 seconds? The room is claustrophobic as is and we're in a pandemic.
