★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit. Very offended. Will not be going back. I understand they have to watch people to prevent theft. That doesnt bother me. The owner came up behind me while I was looking at wine and told me I was being watched. I've been to this store repeatedly and never had any problems. I felt insulted and told them so and that I was leaving and I was told to empty my pockets. Am I going to fit a bottle of wine (the only thing I was near) in my sweater pocket that barely holds my wallet? Probably not.

Very good finds too! I got a smooth aged bottle of Scotch sure to keep the winter cold away!
Nice selections of wines, beers and all different spirits and....
you can always stop for a bite at the Baba Finks next door!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not a bad place if you need something in a hurry. Good selection. However the prices are much more expensive than the mainstream stores. The bottle of wine I got was $11.99, however I can get the same bottle at other stores for between $6.89-$8.99

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like to be profiled, you will love this place. I have visited this place numerous times and I have brushed it off. However, today I walked in, went straight to the back where someone was working. I greeted him. Made eye contact. This man looked at me, looked to see I had a purse then dropped what he was doing to go watch the monitors while I went into refrigerated area. I am a grown woman, wearing $700 shoes, designer handbag, dresses to the Gods because I’m coming from the office. Even with all old that, this man looks at me and still only sees a potential shoplifter... I will not be spending another dime in that place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selection of stout beers when they're in season and good selections of craft beer and choice wines and spirits can be found. Owner shares his knowledge and is great to talk with.
The one reviewer was put off because of monitoring but some people think the world revolves around them. During the pandemic it has been especially dangerous/problematic going down the Central LRT stairs into the lair and I wouldn't encourage the ladies to do so. Something like an Escape from New York movie. I would definitely support the owner if he decided to move to a better location. There are no shortage of commercial vacancies now in downtown Edmonton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This unassuming hidden gem is tucked away on the basement level of the LRT pedway system right below Cambridge Lofts/De Dutch (Central Station). They have a good selection of craft beer that seems to get better as the weeks go on! The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. The owner asked what I was looking for, which they didn't have so I grabbed a few cans of Blindman and Arts Collective. When I came back the next week the beer I asked about was there!

They ignore me when I ask for a refund for over a month and a half. Order No. 10034.
.The basically stole my money, beware, they are thieves.
