Binh's Nails - Edmonton

On Thursday July 25 2019 I was at the Oliver SQ location getting a mani/pedicure...This was a very bad experience for me. Even after I mentioned that she cut my cuticle the first time, she told me "no and that I just had sensitive toes"? After a few more painful snips, with me complaining over and over again...she proceeded to pour rubbing alcohol over my toes making me almost jumped out of my chair from the burning pain,! She told me again that I have sensitive toes. After a couple of days, my cuticle became quite inflamed and very sore so I decided to call the salon. After an upsetting conversation...with her telling me several times that I should have told the girl to be careful...I hung up. I have been here several times and even though there were other minor issues, I kept going back. Not ever again! However, tomorrow...I will see a doctor!

Call to book an appointment and the receptionist was eating whilst speaking to me. She was asked if I’d be charged for using a credit card and she told me she doesn’t know. I was so turn off from their lack of understanding my inquiry to them eating whilst talking! I didn’t go and I’d never go.

Binh's nails was amazing. Tina did my pedicure manicure and eyebrows and I'm very happy and satisfied with her professional and caring service. I recommend!

Sea gave me the most thorough pedicure that I think I have ever received from any nail salon! All the ladies are extremely friendly as well! Will be coming back to see Sea for sure! Thank you!

Got a general polish and picked a yellow colour for spring. When my esthetician was putting on the top coat, I noticed it was uneven. I asked her to put on another coat and she got upset, saying she had done three coats (she had done two). I explained to her again that it was not even and she said it wasn't showing up because my nails were "too dark". I responded that, regardless of my "dark nail" colour, I haven't had problems at other salons because they start with an opaque base coat rather than a clear one when dealing with bright colours. She responded that they "only do that for shellac." Won't go back again.

I just got engaged and wanted nails done to show everyone, plus it was my birthday when I went. I had called ahead because I wanted marble done, and they had said that the artist I wanted would be there. She was not, and my nails were done horribly. The lady who did my nails cut into my cuticle, put the grinder on my skin rather than my nails, and overall did a terrible job. The only good part is that the shapes of the nails are all consistent. I had also gotten a pedicure with my fiancé. We opted for the spa pedicure, and she had burned my skin. The water was so hot, and I kept saying so but she grabbed my foot and put it in the water anyways. After I pulled my foot out again from the pain, she then put a little bit of cold water in. When it was time for the massage rocks, she put it directly from the warmer onto my skin and I almost screamed. I told her it was too hot, and she didn’t listen until the lady doing my fiancés told her that I was in pain. Then she put lotion on the rocks and continued, even with me saying it was still too hot. Then, without asking, they put the paraffin wax on our feet, which we SPECIFICALLY said no to. It was more money and I didn’t want to do it, but she refused to let us not do it, and put it on us anyways. It was, again, wayyy too hot. I have blisters on my legs and feet from all of this. To make matters worse, she had emptied the pedicure water onto the floor where my purse and shoes were. Cleanliness was not there that day. The files were not clean or sanitized and I’m concerned as it can cause fungus. Our bill came to over $200 when it should’ve been only $170+GST for two spa pedicures (WITHOUT paraffin wax) and an acrylic nail set. The lady doing my nails was constantly ignoring me and my pain, and I am deeply unhappy. Do NOT go here.

I have been going here for over 10 years and the staff treat you like family. The are very conscious of cleanliness and sanitation. They also really check the health of you nails and ensure they are up front and honest if they can not do something you want. I had my eyebrows dyed and I was so amazed at how much better they looked. I have tried other salons but would only go here as the service you receive is top notch.

Had a really great experience here. Ivy did a full set on me. She was great to chat with and super gentle on my dry and thin nails. It was $70+ GST and tip. Nails look really nice and super even. Would definitely go back
