Tl;dr - unless you're ok with basically giving your items away, I would not recommend consignment here. I consigned several very high end items (Givenchy, McQueen, etc.) and earned pennies. Unsold items returned with damage/dirt, and you are charged (without a prior heads-up) a handling fee for each item, a random commission % (it doesn't appear to be standardized or publicized anywhere), and $5 per item to pick up unsold items so they aren't donated at Vespucci's discretion. Pros - the staff were always friendly. It wasn't too difficult to get someone on the phone to check my balance. As a buyer, there are some hidden gems. Cons - everything else. I dropped off about 20 items, the rep told me to browse while they went through them. 25 mins later I came back and she said they had accepted everything, gave me a 4 inch receipt with basically just the total # of items I dropped off. No indication of what exactly I dropped off, what they'd sell them for, what my commission would be, how low the sale price would go, how long to leave them before picking them up, a copy of the consignment agreement -- nothing. Just, bye. I left close to 10k (new) worth of designer items and trusted they'd be carefully handled and priced. My bad - I should have asked a lot more questions. It took a while to get things listed, the only way to find out your balance is to call. Thats how I learned they charge a handling fee, on top of their 60% + cut. After my unsold items had been there 8 months, I decided to pick them up (otherwise they might randomly donate them). Which is when I learned on top of the handling fee and their commission, they also charge $5 per item to get them back. So I picked up my items, no idea what I'm getting back because there is no statement. I got a few dollars in cash as payout (which included the payout for a NWT McQueen dress and several pairs of jeans/pants) and another 4 inch receipt with some meaningless numbers on it. No indication of how many items I paid to retreive or what the remaining cash was even for. Opening the bag was a surprise. Adding insult to injury, a pair of boots I painstaking cleaned before dropping them off were dirty and scuffed, obviously having been worn by someone. Other items had dirt and new wear on them. So incredibly disappointing. I would never consign here again. I lost some beautiful designer pieces for a few dollars due to my own naivetΓ© in trusting Vespucci (first time consignor here, a fact that was taken advantage of). Their policies exist singularly in a sign onsite, their commission structure is arbitrary or a mystery. They provide zero statements or documentation or an indication of selling price, there's no minimum sale price. Consignors are not treated respectively from a business practice perspective and frankly I am surprised they are still in operation. I'll sell things myself or just donate from now on or give them to loved ones - this place 10/10 ruined consignment for me.

The staff are so wonderful here! They are so friendly, attentive, and so helpful. The clothes are amazing, and you can find popular designer brands for great prices. They also have amazing sales that you can't miss. 90% off! Wow!

Product range is definitely on point and very current. What makes this place stand out and above others is their amazing customer service. I dealt with multiple associates during my pending purchase and all of them had exceptional customer service. Thank you for everything

I have been shopping from this store for many years and I was happy with their clothing and quality of their consignments, however when I dropped few items, I realized there is a handling fee per item on top of the % of the sold items. Make sure you consider that as It can take all of your gain away.

First time visiting the store over the weekend and I’m glad that I did! I fell in love with a few pieces and at the end of the day ended up with a pair of Givenchy boots. The only con was having to take them home and scrub scrub scrub them clean- it’s unfortunate that there wasn’t any time taken to make these presentable and clean at the store, the price tag then would have made a little bit more sense. Doing some research I was able to find them cheaper and brand new without all of the scuff marks and dirt, but regardless of the condition of the boots themselves, I’m glad I picked these up at the shop here in YYC. If you’re keen on consignment and scanning racks for that one unique piece for your wardrobe, I’d recommend setting at least an hour aside one afternoon to explore the selection!

The younger staff members are friendly and welcoming, the older ones are unpleasant and curt. The store is large, but mostly full of matronly items. A few cute pieces, but not overly trendy as a whole. Pricing is alright with sale prices taken into account, but would be more on point if more of the merchandise was stylistically relevant. You can find dated labels at any thrift store these days and for better prices. Overall though I’d say check it out if you enjoy thrifting, you might find a gem or two. Just be prepared feel unwelcome and have to dig around a lot. Unless you’re over 50.

Do not give your consignments to this store!!! you will get nothing. I would rather give my clothing to charity than letting this store take advantage of me. They charge $2 handling fee per item displayed or not. What a convenient way of making money to keep your clothing in the bag. They also charge 60% for what is sold so at the end of the day you owe them money if you don't sell anything.

One of my favourite consignment shops in Calgary. Fantastic selection - ranging from high street to high end. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is well organized by type, size and colour. Give yourself some time to browse and you will probably find your new favourite item.
