Punctuality is big for me and these guys were ten minutes early both days. Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had VEL replace my basement windows. The job included cutting two of them to be egress size as well as replacing a third with a slider the same size as what was there. I got quotes from 4 or 5 places and VEL was great from the start. Not only was their price reasonable, all of the crew were excellent and knowledgeable from the start. I can't remember the name of the guy who came out and quoted but he was thorough and took careful measurement and photos in the case I accepted the bid. Mark came out to perform the earthwork and concrete cutting and was clean, quick and had all the right equipment to dig and prepare the site even in the middle of winter. He also had advice on how to adjust my eaves and landscaping to prevent the windows wells from flooding. Aaron and Xavier put the windows in and blended the finishing on the exterior to match the rest of the house and even had some tips for finishing the interior (which they also can do however I opted out since I will be renovating the rest of the basement eventually). And lastly Kim, the office manager, kept me informed and answered all of my questions throughout the whole process. Highly recommend for a basement window renovation project.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had 4 companies come to my door and give me estimates. Some of the sales people were not knowledgeable about the regulations and others were very unprofessional. Then I called Kim at Vel and this lady knows here stuff. She answered all my questions and arranged for a salesman to come to my house. Then Randy arrived, what a breath of fresh air. He told us what could be done to suit our needs. So Kim and I were in constant contact by email or phone. Yesterday our basement bedroom window was changed to CODE. Today the three windows were installed. We are so impressed with the job these three men did. They were all very friendly and professional. And to think it all started with my phone call to KIM. Kim, you are the door to the company that invites us to do business with you company,.
