Any questions I've had were answered promptly and thoroughly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to support local businesses that take pride in what they do.

β β β β β Horrible experience with this company. I ordered a custom sized exterior door and they provided me the wrong door twice completely ignoring the provided measurements and failing to conduct simple quality control even after they messed up the first time. Eventually they were able to provide me with the correct door. Unless you have time to babysit these so called 'professionals' your money is better spent elsewhere. The price is cheaper than competitors but it is evident this is due to the complete ineptitude of the company.

β β β β β We've used this company twice now, purchasing windows for our full house along with a terrace door. On both occasions have been extremely happy with the quality product and price point. Items where manufactured here in Calgary which adds confidence in the product as well supporting a local business. The staff were super helpful with our window design and went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted. I must say we're very pleased with both product and customer service and would highly recommend using this company. The windows were installed by a company called MountainView windows and doors who recommended AVWD to us.

β β β β β This company is completely disorganized from the manager down. They were unable to provide dates for installs until less than 3 days notice prior. They quoted me 8 weeks for the window and door but would not commit to a date until 3 days prior the end of 8 weeks. They missed several appointments and showed up with no notice for measurements. After I spoke with the manager on this and they issued a credit of $200, but the next 2 appointments were missed. When I sent an email about all this problems with this projects and the complete lack of ability to organize a simple time or date for install the response from the manager was Congrats the door is finally done. The door was initially measured wrong and did not line up with the deadbolt and could not be properly locked which took them almost 3 weeks to fix after multiple calls from myself. The door is ok now. The window is definitely lower quality than other companies I have used. There is no advantage to using this company at all. Even if they quote cheaper it is not worth dealing with the problems that arise with their ineptitude.

β β β β β Not happy with the quality of their products. We had all new windows and doors installed and we're very unhappy with the quality. Our contactor was great but the product is junk. If I would have been given an option of a different company I would have definitely chosen and paid more for better product. Window on the front door was defective during install and took months to be replaced, the lock on the patio door broke almost instantly and took over 4 months to be replaced. And now the bottom door lock doesn't engage. I realize due to covid supplies may take longer to replace but it shouldn't be garbage less than 6 months in.

β β β β β I bought some windows from H.4.H Restore and they needed vinyl brickmold added to them for proper installation. I brought a total of 6 windows to them for brickmold to be added. WOW! They were so helpful and quick with the completion of the work. These weren't THEIR windows, but the worked on them anyway. They transformed the appearance of my standard flange mounted windows with beautiful brickmold!!!
IMHO, Brickmold is the best way to mount and install windows. It beautifies your windows and looks 10x better than the standard flange mount windows you see sold at big box DIY stores!!!
The price and quality of their work can't be beat!
