Im really happy for my surgery and i want to say Dr. daniel Mckee is the best im so glad that he is my Dr and i finish this process with him

Dr. McKee is one of the most caring and professional doctors that I have ever met. He wanted to know about my life and my story and ensure I had supports in place to help me through the preparation and recovery process. I will never forget that on the day of surgery he said “today is a good day”. He was right. I would recommend him to any of my friends looking for not only an exceptional clinical experience but also exceptional surgery results. I had my keyhole surgery one month ago and I am beyond grateful for the results both physically and emotionally. I feel like I can move ahead with my life in a new and beautiful way now. Got my top surgery done here by Dr. McKee and I’m very happy with the results! The scars are barely visible and my chest looks completely masculine. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I felt safe the entire time. I finally feel comfortable in my own skin, and I no longer am afraid to show my chest.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr McKee and am extremely satisfied with the results of my Top Surgery. I am two months post op and already back working, exercising and living my life, happier than ever. This is the first time I have been able to run comfortably in about 15 years after being very active and playing sports most of my childhood/teen years (prior to my chest growing in). Every morning I go for a run and feel such an intense eruption of emotion and gratitude to Dr McKee and his staff for making such a significant change in my life. I am so much happier, healthier and social than I ever have been. This energy, confidence and love for my new body radiates into my career and relationships in a very positive way. I feel like myself fully, moreso than I ever have. Dr McKee is incredibly warm and kind, I don't often feel comfortable being touched or seen by cis male practitioners, especially as an autistic trans person with many sensory sensitivities. He is quick and to the point, thorough with his instructions and genuinely cares about the community he is serving, something I don't usually feel when accessing Trans Care. He is innovative and deeply committed to his work, I got that sense at every check up seeing his eyes light up at my scars and explaining the processes and how they worked to end up with that result. I was feeling very anxious and worried about my nipple grafts healing during recovery and he went out of his way to call me on the weekend at like 9pm in order to make sure I was ok. I felt very supported throughout the entire process and he made me feel at ease leading up to falling asleep on the operating table. He was also quick to correct any staff using the wrong name or pronouns for me, those that did adjusted. As someone who was a bit chubbier and had extra skin, he made incisions far enough to avoid the dog-ears that some surgeons tend to leave behind. Something I was concerned about but looks perfect, the incisions further to my back were 100% worth it. I would highly recommend Dr McKee to anyone considering and honestly from what I've seen amongst trans community, his results are by far the best. It's obvious he takes a lot of pride in his work and love for his patients. Surgery date: December 2, 2020 Finn :)

Dr. Mckee is an incredible surgeon, and I'm fortunate to have had my top surgery done by him and his team. From intake, to surgery, to post-surgical appointments, I was very well taken care of and now have the most beautiful chest. I would say some patients panic about surgery day, being in an OR and such- I know I did, but when the day arrived, I was laughing and talking with the medical team right up until it was time for the anesthetic. Suffice to say, I was comfortable! Dr. Mckee is very humble, but knowledgeable and re-assuring about the process. He includes you in the decisions around your body- he is honest about surgical outcomes, and provides patients with education resources regarding the whole process. All in all, Dr. Mckee has really raised the standard of care for transgender men and trans masculine people, and I recommend him to any person considering top surgery.

I was extremely lucky to be able to receive my top surgery from Dr. Mckee. He is very respectful and clearly understands the correct language to use when dealing with transgender patients. He made me feel completely comfortable and confident about my operation, a double mastectomy with nipple grafts, and made sure I was properly informed about all the details beforehand. The results look fantastic and recovery went smoothly with no complications. I would absolutely recommend Dr. McKee for anyone who is looking for gender affirming surgery.
