Zahra has only been the best midwife I ever had. She's there for us every step throughout my pregnancy and after. She's very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. She helped with my endless questions, reassured me whenever I'm down due to complications with the kid and literally have been an immense support to us. If I ever have another child, I know who I'll go to. Thank you for being so patient and kind with us Zahra!

This was my first pregnancy and my husband I are so thankful Jouanna was our midwife through it all! She was professional, caring, and always quick with answering any questions I had - she would reply very quickly to all my texts/calls. She keeps up to date with all the latest medical research and articles to provide the best care for her clients. I can’t thank you enough Jouanna for everything!

Jouanna provided prenatal care for the first half of my pregnancy before I moved, and then provided my postpartum care. She was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. She was available to answer all of my questions quickly and as a first time mom I had a lot! Jouanna is very kind and compassionate and truly cares about her clients and their health. I was sad when our time together came to an end. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Jouanna!

Jouanna was my midwife during her time at Burnaby Midwifery Clinic and I have nothing but positive things to say. The care I received was warm and professional and I was able to have the birthing experience I wanted with the midwifery team by my side throughout. My baby is almost one year old now and I look back on her birth and my post-partum recovery as being a very positive experience.

I will preface this review with the fact that I had a healthy pregnancy overall besides major nausea and vomiting in the first tri. Besides that everything seemed like a healthy pregnancy for the most part. Jouanna was my midwife and if I can have her deliver all my babies in the future I would choose it so. My family doctor wasnt super helpful with me finding an ob as I was living in Coquitlam at the time but I read reviews and chose to go the midwife route with Zahra Jouanna Eshaghi. At first I was hesitant as everyone in my family went the MD, ob route but ive heard good things about midwives. It was my first pregnancy tbh I was super worried about everything. I decided to go with jounna as per the Google reviews and I'm super glad I did. Every appointment with her made me feel at ease. She was open and honest and very caring. She made me feel so comforted, I knew that when It was time to give birth I would feel comfortable with her leading the way. She eased my mind when I asked questions and didn't rush me or make me feel small about my worries. She was careful with her words to not upset me just incase and was mindful of how she came across which I thought was super thoughtful as a practitioner. Even after my baby came she made sure she took precautions like sending me home with a requisition just incase which helped us immensely as my baby did have jaundice and needed to go back to the hospital. She was available to answer questions when I had any in the weeks after birth as well. Jouanna works so hard to deliver babies safely into this world to the best of her ability and I can feel her love for it. If she can help you she will. My husband and I are so very grateful we have met Jouanna and had her deliver our baby.

Jouanna is a professional and very caring person that I had the best experience with during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. Especially, Big thanks to her very detailed support at the delivery that it was incredibly smooth for our first child. Also, after giving birth, the care was continuing to check up on our baby girl and, she helped me a lot for breastfeeding that now I am able to breastfeed well. I would strongly recommend anyone who needs a midwife for beautiful life moments.

Jouanna(Zahra) is an incredibly caring, empathetic and knowledgeable midwife. We'd highly recommend her to anyone having a baby! As 2 first-time parents, when we first found out the pregnancy, we had no idea how anything related to it works. The amount of information online is certainly overwhelming! Thanks to Jouanna, during each of our visit, she gradually told us what we need to know at each stage of the pregnancy. She also answered all our paranoiac questions with patience. The thing we're most grateful for is the smooth and natural delivery. My wife had contractions for more than a day. During that time, Jouanna checked in on us by phone & home visit every few hours. She went to the hospital with us multiple times whenever we needed to get pain relief, no matter what time and day it was. Her calm, patient and supportive voice made us feel assured that everything was going well and eventually we had a smooth delivery. After birth our little one had jaundice. Although we had read that it's common, experiencing it first-hand while being sleep-deprived was extra stressful! Jouanna acted promptly by giving us the right treatment and it went away in 2 days. That was such a relief! 5 weeks later, we now have a strong, healthy baby girl. We can't express enough how incredibly grateful we are to have Jouanna as our midwife!

If you are looking for a midwife I definitely recommend Joanna. Also if you want wonderful and memorable childbirth choose her. She is knowledgeable and has great supporting from pregnancy to postpartum. Joanna is very kindness and warm-hearted person. I also recommend her if you are immigrants or worried about English jargon. I came to Canada recently and was worried English jargon. When every time I didn't understand, she spoke slowly and in plain language. You may be anxious during pregnancy and after childbirth, she will answer any questions accurately and politely. I had a postpartum mental illness, and even that supported me. And what was great was the labor pains and the great appreciation for the support during delivery, and the very easy-to-understand advice on how and where to focus. And above all, it was encouraging. thank you! Joanna, thank you, we had a wonderful baby because you. My pregnancy and childbirth have been an unforgettable that wonderful time in my life. thanks so much? If I have another pregnancy, I will definitely ask Joanna again!
