Prices have gone up over the past few years and mostly this is acceptable but -1☆ for the handful of ridiculous like asking $80 for a secondhand fugly chair or $70 for Doc Martens that the previous owner has already worn into tatters. But overall a deal, nice staff, good rotating selection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Value Village is not somewhere I go but rarely. Prices are outrageous and that's because they are a for-profit establishment. Definitely not for struggling families. It's nothing more than a second-hand store.
I do go on occasion if I can't find what I'm looking for elsewhere. I give them 3 stars for organization and efficiency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biggest Value Village store in Ottawa! Has a great diversity of clothing, decor, toys, tools, supplies and furniture. Staff is kind, and helpful. Only reason for the 4/5 stars is because prices have become absurdly high, some of the stuff is cheaper to buy new. Clothing is the worste, a basic t-shirt will run you upwards of $10! Also company as a whole looses some points for deception of being a nonprofit, otherwise awesome store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of items and quality can be found but many items are often so grossly overpriced (see pictures). Not pictured, night gowns at $25 and corporate coffee mugs at $5. Always make sure to check prices for new items before contemplating buying something, just in case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your looking for simple everyday purchases then this thrift store is a good choice. But if your on the hunt for great finds, or more just more unique fun stuff not a great option.
It's one of the more busy thrift stores with the parking always packed. So anything that's a really good find would probably be swooped up.
The merchandise tends to skew towards cheap old Walmart clothing more then good vintage wears.
