Anna has always done a fabulous job grooming our dog Appa.

I get my bunny’s nails trimmed here and the staff are great help.

I brought my rather scruffy old dog in. I was leery about bringing my dog back to a groomer after the terrible treatment he had received at a different groomer. I am so glad I brought him into Urban Pets! They were wonderful and so gentle and kind. Timber will be a regular client from now on!!!

BEWARE the owner of this location is abusive towards the animals. Do NOT leave your animal here for any services. There have been many many reports of abuse and injury to animals here and the owner has been investigated dozen times by SPCA. Take your dog elsewhere.

Friendly and very accommodating was able to get same day app! The cut is a little shaggy even overzealous but he is trimmed and fresh! Its possible I wasn't as specific as I should have been asked for a Schnauzer cut so could be interpreted differently I suppose. Price is fair, service was good! We would return with maybe a bit more instruction. :)

EDIT: In response to the owners response. There is not a word of truth to it, can't believe they won't own up to it and instead decide to gaslight and call me abusive. Thankfully I recorded the entire interaction, I have a witness and I took her straight to the vet afterwards. I will be following up with the authorities and animal protection until this is resolved. The younger staff member who works there was lovely and no one verbally abused her. DON'T TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. I now believe every single bad review for this business. My daughter and I dropped off our 12 week old Labradoodle at 11AM this morning for an appointment to get washed and groomed. The young woman who met us at the front was very nice and we thought it was going to be a great first grooming experience for our puppy. She said it would take 2 hours and she would call when she was close to being finished. We came back to the store just before 1PM to get her because we were in the area and I had another appointment. When I asked how she was doing, a very irate owner came out and told me it was going to be 4 hours and she had not even started yet. She then proceeded to chew out the young woman for giving me the wrong timeframe. I said ok, let me call my husband and see what we can coordinate so one of us can come back and get her. I made my call and when I went back to talk to her again, my daughter and I saw her slam a small dog down on the grooming table with another female groomer and was raising her voice with the dog saying "get down" "stay down" "stop being so damn difficult". It doesn't take 2 women to hold down a dog that small and the dog appeared to be terrified. We then saw the other woman throw a dog into a cage and my dog was in the corner of her cage cowering. My daughter 10 year old started crying and I went back up to the front. The young woman tried to apologize and I said "This isn't your fault, but I would like my dog back now please". She walked back to get my dog. After a minute, I walked back to the grooming room again and the owner was cutting my dog's nails. I said, "I want my dog now, I'm going to pay and leave I don't care if she's finished”. My dog started yelping and I noticed that all of her nails were bleeding. The owner came up to the front with our dog and rang us in. She was trying to talk about it being a 4 hour appointment and I said "That is not why we are upset. You were abusing those dogs" She said I was holding him because he was trying to jump down. I told her that I saw what I saw. I paid and we took our dog and left. Our puppy cried all the way home, which she never does. It is 2:30PM and she is still sitting with her face in the corner of the room no matter how much we try to comfort her. Her paws are still bleeding... If you love your pets, please do not bring them there. That woman should not be allowed near pets. Thankfully I recorded most of the interaction, and it appears now, after reading some of these reviews, that the owner likes to spin her own side of the story. I sincerely hope that my dog will not be terrified every time she goes to a groomer now, this should never have happened.

I took my Mom's Havanese Yorkie to Anna for the best haircut of his life! He is a very difficult breed to groom and she did an AMAZING job! He was getting compliments from across the street! Years later I finally got a Havanese Yorkie of my own and there was nobody else that I trusted more for her first puppy cut! I am a professional dog trainer, and my pup means the world to me. My puppy was matted due to the heat and a huge mess, and as always, Anna was a miracle worker! She took her time and gave a very clean and precise shave for such a squirmy puppy! She even took on extra clients during the heat wave to save as many lives as she could! Highly recommended! Thank you for caring so much about your clients!

New to the area. Booked an appointment for my large dog to get a much needed grooming. They brushed out all her excess fur, wash/dry and did some sissor work on her thigh/butt area. Clean happy dog. Lady we dealt with was nice and friendly. Pricing was similar to what I've paid at PetSmart in the past. Appointment from drop off to pick up took 3hrs. Maisy will be back for another grooming session. ?
