As soon as we walked in, we were not greeted with a hello or good afternoon but in an aggressive manner and tone, to sanitize our hands. Note, after parking our vehicle, we had already sanitized our hands and wore masks. After sitting and trying out the first few couches, I felt the vibe/atmosphere was negative. Walking towards the centre of the store, the second associate at the till, was staring blankly at the screen. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever seen. I arrived late afternoon, these associates need to be retrained or just get rid of them because no body is spending big money here. It is not the product that sells itself but more importantly the people that sell it.

About a year later I received a call from JR asking me if I was still interested in it as it had become available again. I was thrilled and very surprised that he had remembered how much I loved the picture. Fantastic customer service. Love my picture, thanks so much.

I went in looking for a sideboard and she was extremely helpful and I ended up buying the floor model at an incredible price. I paid extra for the delivery which was quite expensive but they wrapped it and brought it right into my house and unwrapped it, so I didn't have to do a thing. The only negative thing would be the lack of communication from the delivery company !I had to call Urban Barn twice and they finally gave me the delivery company's phone number and I finally got a firm delivery date, other than that, everything else was perfect!

I do have a pair of slipper chairs that have always had problems - the legs spin which causes the chair to collapse. They weren’t very helpful with a solution for those chairs; however, everything else I’ve bought has been fabulous. The staff at the Uptown store are always helpful and cheerful.

We weren't greeted at all when we entered the store and we were ignored the whole time we were there. I felt incredibly judged by the sales people. I can get my furniture elsewhere in Victoria. I see other reviews saying the same thing so maybe something to take into consideration. Edit: March 2022. I went back into the store this weekend and I have to say they listened to the reviews. I was greeted immediately upon entering and asked if I was looking for something in particular and when we said we were just browsing we were able to freely browse the store! Great service!

Leaving us out hundreds or back at the drawing board after getting all the measurements sorted. Mean customer service reps. Snotty staff.
