β β β β β My boyfriend and I went in yesterday to get our eyes checked and Dr Yu was so informative and very knowledgeable. We left our appointment talking about how great Dr. Yu was as he took his time to assess us and not just give us a prescription. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and coming back for future check ups!
Also, such a cute little office/clinic!

β β β β β I booked an appointment with Dr. Yu as I had several questions regarding my eyes and vision and Dr. Yu was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. He was thorough and informative while being easy to talk to and understand during the appointment. Thank you very much Doctor.

β β β β β I took my dad went to see Dr. Yu for a growth on his eye. Dr. Yu was very kind and generous and caring and referred my dad to see another ophthalmologist for a follow-up. We were just visiting Canada and did not know which doctor's to see, but Dr. Yu was kind enough to help us out. He reached out to multiple ophthalmologists for us as it was the holidays and a lot were busy and/or closed until we found one. Afterwards, he also called us to follow-up as well, he really cared about the outcome of my Dad's eye. Very highly recommended. Great doctor, great service, very caring. Thank you Dr. Yu.

β β β β β Terrible attitude, rude and impatient. Would not recommend this doctor. Came here before for an eye appointment and doctor had no patience at all with my questions. This doctor is extremely incompetent and doesn't act like a professional when it comes to servicing his clients and speaking to them with respect. I have read the other reviews as well and it seems like most low graded reviews have the same issue with his attitude. He is incompetent and does not want to take time to explain the "diagnosis" he is throwing at you. I urge you not to go here if you have even a small sense of self-respect. We as customers and clients should not support businesses like these that do not value customer feedback and treat their customers with respect. After reading several reviews, it just disgusts me how he was not only treating me rudely, but also elderly.

β β β β β Dr. Yu is thorough, professional, and basically everything you can ask for in an optometrist. He managed to catch two retina holes in a span of 2.5 years that I was able to seek treatment for immediately upon referral to a specialist. I would recommend Dr. Yu to my family and friends without reservation. Thank you and see you at my next annual check-up!

β β β β β I am impressed with Dr Yu's expertise and thorough approach in examination and explanation. He is consistent year over year, not only the first appointment.
It's an hour drive, I would keep going to him as its worth it than others jumping to prescription paper.
I strongly recommend him.
