Dr. Karen To is very professional and caring, which is mainly the reason I am still sticking with this clinic. However walkins are almost never possible and you must book at least a day in advance to be able to see any doctors. The receptionists are relatively rude to patients and not professional at telephone manners. You do not feel welcomed if you call in....

Called the clinic this morning asking to speak with our family doctor, as my pregnant wife’s hand was swollen and reddish with slight blue from last night to this morning with no improvement. I was hoping to quickly ask the doctor if we should go to the hospital or if it’s nothing to worry about. We tried icing it, raising the hand above the body and massaging it with no avail. I was told my the guy at the front desk that the doctor is seeing patients, which I understand. I asked if she can give us a quick call between patients, he said she is busy and cannot do that. He was not able to offer any advice or solution. He then asked if my wife can come in later in the day to see the doctor. I said no cuz it’ll take my wife about two hours to bus to the clinic. I asked to speak to another doctor if possible. He said all their doctors are busy. I told him I just wanted to know if we should go to ER, to which he replies “oh, maybe you should”. I find the the front desk in this situation very unprofessional. I have never had a doctor’s office not allow the doctor take a call where the patient is asking if they should go to ER. We are calling because we didn’t know if this is serious or not. Plus, if we are to come in for an appointment, we might as well go to the ER. Don’t get me wrong, we like our doctor. She is very good.

Love the doctors, lady at the reception is terrible though. The doctors are great, they are knowledge and very friendly. If you are walking-in, be sure register early in the morning around 9am since they have so many walk-in now. My family and I have been patients at the clinic since it opened, one of the doctors is our family doctors. However, our recent experiences with its reception had forced us to never come back again and STRONGLY recommend everyone to seek other clinics. On two accounts, the lady at the reception was extremely rude and unprofessional to me and the family and here’s what happened. 1. We finished seeing our family doctor and had to schedule time with a specialist. She was quite impatient with us already but I thought it’s because the waiting room is full of people and she was just too busy, it really got to me when we come back a second time to book an appointment with our family doctor. The first words the she said, with so much disgust showing on her face, were “what do you want now?” She even advised me there are other clinics out there available. I was literally shocked that she would say that to anybody. I put on a smile, made the appointment, and got out as soon as I could. I was thinking, I’m a patient and why on earth should I be treated like the. 2. The other time she was just very unprofessional. Our baby was due for shots in the beginning of April so we thought we will schedule that ahead of time by calling a month ahead. The lady at the reception asked us why would we call so earlier registration is not opened yet and asked us to call back at the end of March. Fair enough we called back at the end of March and was told the nurse who gives the shots is on leave until mid April. It is outrageous when she said “you can try the community health centres but I don’t think you can get in hahaha.” Yeah laughing at us was very helpful and now we still trying to schedule our baby’s shots. At the end of the day, we DO NOT recommend anybody to go.

The service was fast and the doctor was very understanding. I came in at 10 as a walk-in. The nurse explained the next available time (also explained that it could take longer depending on how other patients take - which is understandable). So, I arrived a bit early before the appointed time thinking I'll have to wait. To my surprise, I was quickly given a room to meet with the doctor. I was out of the place in less than 30mins. The Doctor (forgot his name) was young, courteous, and understanding. Overall my experience was great. I was initially hesitant to go here because of a few negative reviews. But when I look at most walk-in clinics it's very rare to find one that actually has a high rating. Most of the negative reviews are very common, long wait times, doctor is too busy etc. I think that's just quite normal these days.

Front desk has horrible service and upon calling automatically states that they are fully booked and instructs me to call again the next day. I have called continuously for the past 6 days and was never informed which days would have availability. Annoyed by this, I simply asked the front desk the sixth time I called if they are fully booked everyday in which he responded “yes.” If I had known beforehand that they were fully booked every single day, I would not have bothered with wasting my time to call continuously. This clinic does not care or want to assist clients in any way. I am unbelievably shocked by the poor service that the front desk has constantly projected and appalled by the disrespect and carelessness that this clinic has displayed.

The doctor and front desk staffs are very unfriendly. The doctor only care about money and all they can say to you is "I think you are fine, drink more hot water" I waited 3 days for appointment and got one suggestion to drink hit water, the advice is useless. The front desk is rude and unwilling to help patient to book an appointment.

Alex Li is my family doctor, he is soooo good and so detail and he really treat patient with all his heart, I would love to recommend people that I know to him. The only bad thing of this clinic is one of the lady in the front desk , she is so impolite, talked over me when I was trying to explain something to her, answer my question unprofessionally. Not asking her to treat me like a VIP of a 5 stars hotel but at least please talk an adult and stop giving patient attitude.

Horrible and unhelpful reception people. They can’t answer even basic questions or redirect you properly. It’s like they’re frozen in fear to help you. I had to pick up a prescription and they looked at me puzzled like I was an alien and could not comprehend. They insist that the doctor must consult me on the phone first even though my issue had to do with skin and can’t be diagnosed on the phone. The doctor also left me hanging after I sent photos and I never heard back from her. How can you just leave patients in limbo when they are in pain? Aren’t doctors supposed to do no harm?
