First of all the food was whack the restaurant was very dirty and there was random stuff everywhere it was worse than my cooking at home and we had three dishes all three were so bad the eel was slimey the fried chicken cutlet was oily and soggy and they made the rice worse than my rice cooker at home, I think the previous cook left or something the reviews don’t make sense

Tasty food that you wouldnt expect from that price point. Definitely should support them. Haven't tried anything else but would recommend the Tonkatsu bowl for under $10

cute ambiance. but the food got worse over the years. ordered chicken nuggets and got oven chicken nuggets. and they took 25+ mintues to get here and everyone was finished their meal when my nuggets came. so sad cuz i usually love this place . won’t come here for a while

Ordered the taro pudding milk tea for $7.65. No real taro and no pudding? Fine I can understand the milk tea is taro flavoured with some artificial thing but are you seriously serving it without pudding at such a price? Never seen anything like this in Vancouver until first trying this and well done

My husband and I went here on a Saturday night. We were the only customer but their food was amazing and perfect portion. It really taste like home cooking. The venue feels really homey! We ordered the kimchi fried rice, satay beef soup, and their tonkatsu bowl. It was very good! Staff were pretty nice too. I ordered their "whatever" drink which they basically make you guess the ingredients they put in it and if you guessed it right, you get the drink for free. You get 3 chances to guess it. Definitely will recommend it to my friends and family ?

Hidden family run restaurant-cafe upstairs in Central Square. Twinkle is one of the best late night (sometimes open to 2am) places to chill. My friends and I like to order their Oyako don, Garlic Chicken & Rice, and Satay beef with udon in milky soup. Some things on their menu is quite delish, especially if the good cook is there. Others, like the ham & cheese sandwich are just average. The atmosphere is really nice. This is the only place in the area I know of with an upstairs outdoor patio. If you're a smoker, they let you smoke on the patio. But if you don't like smoke smell, this may bother you. Its a super chill place, quieter in the afternoons, sometimes a bit loud in the late evenings. There is a play darts machine. The owners like to sit at one of the tables and watch tv. If you're a member of the LGBTQ community, come and get to know the owners. They always make my partner and I feel comfortable.

The food and drink had large portions sizes and tasted like home cooking. Good location right next to Aberdeen Center, had a nice lunch here to avoid the crowds at the food court in the mall, and we could walk over right after to do some shopping. Owners were friendly and chatted about their prior location Twinkle 1 before moving to the current one, Twinkle 2. ?
