Rude man, rude staff. Sketchy credentials and likes to charge random things (and only takes cash) that would otherwise be covered by insurance. What surprises me is the amount of trust that he gets from the local elderly population despite multiple botched surgeries under his belt (more so than your average opthalmologist - just ask around Richmond!) Not only does he screw up the operations, but he refuses to explain what went wrong in detail (I doubt he actually knows). BEWARE. ESPECIALLY OF YOU ARE SENDING YOUR ELDERLY PARENTS FOR A CONSULTATION. AVOID AT ANY COST

Great experience, staff is helpful and Dr. Lee is detail oriented and patient. I had cornea abrasion and it didn't take long to get my appointment. Dr. Lee examined my eye carefully and ease the discomfort in the 1st appointment. It will be better if wait time was shorter. If it's an emergency, ask your family doctor to refer to Dr. Lee, he can see you very soon.

The signs of prospective bad service was quite clear when I entered the office. The doctor's office has not seen ANY change in the last 30 years. As an example, he is still using a paper filing system for patients. It is kind of nostalgic and something to see. My brother was referred to this gentleman by his family doctor and waited for two months to see a specialist which is kind of normal in BC. He went for a diagnosis and come out of his office with an appointment for a small operation. Although there were no directions from the doctor bor the office, I taught it would be a good idea to get him home. I got in the office 20 minutes after the operation time expecting to get him home. I saw my brother sitting at another era in twilight zone! The setup has not seen any change since mid eighties. I had time to check every ad poster in the office. The newest one was fron 2008... The receptionist and the other lady working there did not even had a momentary eye contact to acknowledge my entrance. I taught at this point I had to ignore all the signs due to the crunched health system. We waited for around two hours before seeing a doctor. There were no explanations nor apology. The doctor is old fashioned that beams you back to 1980s. They were also very rude and defensive when we politely addressed the problem. We are not planning to go back. Actually I wished to google him to see this document before.

The technician was rude, arrogant, and inconsiderate, and had a bad attitude. The optometrist wasn’t thorough at all with his examination. The warning signs were there as soon as we walked in - small, cramped office and outdated equipment. A new prescription was written without properly checking for the most optimal vision option, and there was minimal consultation. It felt like the optometrist was just quickly going through the basic motions to just get the barest minimum done. This is the worst optometrist and staff that I have encountered, I have no trust in the prescription provided. I strongly advise others to avoid going to this optometrist - completely a waste of time and very frustrating experience.

If I had an option I would prefer to not give a star. We were here on our appointment time but they said we should wait until end of the line because it’s a surgery and we wait for 1.5 hours. Also they didn’t explain anything about the surgery but they requested to sign the documents about complications. It’s an unprofessional place.

Office is super dirty like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. Appointment times are completely off. We had a 12pm appointment but ended up waiting for almost 2 hours. They should not book that many people if they don’t have the capacity to. The doctor is friendly and polite but not very organized. The assistant had to clarify the doctor was about to use some old equipment on my mom and she quickly exchanged it. Would not recommend if you have a choice in specialist. Also, front staff also needs to tell patients to keep their shoes on and don’t rub their toes in public!

Can we please encourage Google to have 0 stars for places like this? This place is an absolute mess. I am so surprised people will still go to him. Parking is 2 hours but when the doctor hasn't even seen my dad 2.5 hours after his appointment time? Truly don't need to make appointments because it is just whenever apparently. Feel like wasting a couple of hours of your time. That they can do.
