We "failed", but absolutely had a blast doing our very first Escape Room ever! Won't hesitate to try another one!

We were not very good, but it was very enjoyable! They were very good about steering us without telling us when we asked for a few clues. The room was set up nicely, the theme was fun and the staff was friendly. All in all, a nice experience and would definitely go again.

I booked the Death Note room with a close friend of mine. We're relatively new to escape rooms so our standards aren't very high. I will say that the staff members were kind and respectful towards us, which will earn a single star - and that was the only good thing from this experience. Here are a few issues we had to deal with: 1. (minor) Death Note was rated 14A, so we expected at least some horror or gruesome element to it. Without spoiling the room, this factor was underwhelming - and yes, we did succeed and escaped, so we went through the entire thing. Should be PG-13, if you ask me. 2. (major) 15 minutes prior to our scheduled start time, we were told that "something had gone wrong" with one of the props in the room. We started the room about 10 minutes later than scheduled. We were told to wait, with no apology and no compensation. Our gamemaster also cut our time short, and if it were not for the computer in the room (sorry for spoilers), which I used to track our time, and me reminding the gamemaster, we would have had only 50 minutes instead of the entire 60. 3. (major) Read #2 first. It turned out that one of the locks were not functioning as desired because of a previous group, so the gamemaster had to physically enter the room and put in the code for us. This not only ruined the puzzle but was a huge negative of the entire experience overall. Why not reschedule until everything functions normally? We essentially paid for an incomplete experience and a broken prop. 4. (minor) The puzzles were not chronologically comprehensive, and 1-2 steps were far-fetched and almost random. It could've just been us, but even though we succeeded, the connections were hard to follow and about half of it was illogical in progression. The above comments are intended to be constructive. I cannot speak for other people's experiences, but from what we experienced (in comparison to only one other escape room we've done in the past), we will likely not visit Trapped again in the foreseeable future. Do not book this room.

Generally an amazing experience! As first time players, my group of 5 loved it. We did the medieval prison theme, supposedly the easiest room, but we still never got completely through. It really requires you to think outside the box so I would def recommend it for first time players. The story went really well with the room as well and the props, hints, clues, locks were really cool.

A mind blowing experience ???. Went into medivial room. although we started very good but soon we realized that its not easy escape. U will get lost in the attention to detail. Had to call them on walkie to get clues. We failed to escape but they were nice to guide us through the steps of final puzzle. Love this place. Will go again soon.

Trapped is a good place to start for beginner escapers, family outing, or team building events. Rooms are immersive. There are some multi-room games limited tech and rely heavily on lock boxes. Most rooms are fairly linear. I highly recommend them for families with kids as rooms aren’t scary and puzzle difficulties do vary; everyone will be able to contribute something. Great staff who are all excellent game masters, fun to talk to about various escape rooms and very friendly!

Definitely one of the better escape room places that I've been to. Did both the Chaos Effect and Medievel Prison rooms in the same day and they were both really good. Chaos was the better of the two as they story and theme was amazing. They're not very difficult compared to some of the other rooms I have done at other places but they weren't easy either. Even Chaos which is supposed to be their hardest room. I would rate Medieval a 3/5 as I did have a few gripes with a few of the puzzles, but a 5/5 for Chaos. The staff was very nice and the talks we had with after completion about the rooms added to the experience. Will probably come back and do Room 057 when I get the chance.
