★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have yet to order online as the funds are in US currency and I believe the shipment is too?! I hope that changes as there is a flagship store which is quite far from me (I don't want to lead my toddler on a two hour trip for awesome leggings) but if there was a change to Canadian shipping in Canadian dollars.....I would be in legging heaven.*
*I ordered, online, from Torrid! Finally! What was I waiting for, I’ll never know?! $8 leggings…The original leggings which are made so fabulously that I ordered 12, are the reason I made my first order. The shawls and jackets are another fabulous buy! USA or Canadian funds do not matter when their products are well made!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not very happy with the price point. It’s a rip off. I believe its like that since they have no competition in the plus size clothing world in BC or Canada in general. So for me, although I’m spending my money there but I’m not happy and definitely looking for better and more affordable alternatives.
The store location is not convenient if you live in Vancouver, it's located in Surrey, which is almost an hour from Vancouver, with traffic. Lol.
It's my second visit to plus sized women's heaven, but and I'm disappointed with few thing's that I hope they work on to improve our shopping experience.
1_ shoes: size 12 & 13 is very limited, almost unavailable at their store, and I'm always being encouraged to order online, however, I don't like online shopping when it comes to shoes! It's so tricky, I might end up with a weird fit, or uncomfortable pair of shoes, and that is the last thing I want to spend my money on.
2_ online shopping: They don't ship to stores in Canada, and shipping costs $20 USD!! I don't find it fair, as 99% of international brands ships for free, or they'll offer free shipping if you spend or exceed a specific amount.
3_ we need more options in the physical store! Almost all good styles are available online and guess what? A plus size queen will never trust online shopping!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The purchasing at Torrid lacks diversity this season with all dresses being sleeveless or very short sleeved. The prices for clothes, even for inflated plus standards, are WAY too high.
At this location, the staff didn’t even greet me when I entered and were generally unhelpful.
Despite being a customer for YEARS, if this is the style selection and service I can expect from Torrid, I can’t justify shopping here anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really friendly and helpful staff. It's great having women who are a similar size working in the store as it makes me feel more confident in their knowledge of how clothing fits plus size bodies. They also have size 12 women's shoes, pretty much the only place left in Canada I can find my shoe size in women's shoes. First time I've been able to buys women's running shoes since Payless went bust.
