★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a very rude and condescending lady that answers the phone and is of no help at all. people are trying to adopt and add new companions to the family but all she is doing is trying to tear it apart before it even begins. see all the other reviews for yourself and be the judge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Euthanize animals after 3 days of finding lost pets. DISGUSTING and frankly ILLEGAL and atrocious treatment of beautiful creatures.
Should not be in business and should not be funded. Watch out - if you’ve lost your pet, RUN to this location and hope they haven’t MURDERED your pet.
They “can do whatever they want” with your pet if they find them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE!!! ***PLEASE READ!!!***I wish I could give ZERO stars! I adopted a bonded pair. Turns out they had/have FELV. They were in the main room where all the cats can go. If you adopted in SEPTEMBER 2020 then your cats could be INFECTED too!!! They truly do NOT care about the health of the animals. They're just trying to get them through the door as quickly as they can. It's disgusting that I had to put a 4 year old cat down for their NEGLIGENCE!!! DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE!!! Please! If you love animals get from Toronto Humane Society. They treat their animals with the love they deserve and not just as another number! DIGUSTING!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was met by an employee early, as we were dropping off a colony of feral cats, to be neutered and released back into the community. He was very cordial and reassuring as we have become attached to these kittens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got off the phone with the woman at the desk was extremely brisk and cold when explaining to her our situation refused and said they couldn't help as well as failed to make any effort whatsoever to help point us towards someone who could even though I stressed the urgency for the welfare of the animal that will be without anyone to feed or tend to it and the tenant downstairs abandoned the cat and the property will be vacant in two days with no one to care for this animal. Very sad that they did nothing to help nor show any genuine concern for the well being of this living animal .
Would give zero stats if I could

Fairly priced, did everything for my little kitty and really nice service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toronto Animal Services play such an important role in this city covering such a wide range of duties and services. To get to their building use Bellamy Road up to Progress, turn right and it's on the south side. The friendly, knowledgeable City staff will come to the door when you buzz and help you. There was a lovely part husky called Vera waiting for adoption in a compound by the front door the last time I was there. Just a reminder they do not keep stray raccoon kits, so if you find any it's best to make sure the mother is not around.
