★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the staff were incredibly friendly and Isaiah, my barber, was incredible! Very engaging and lots of fun to talk to. We were just BSing and all of a sudden I had a killer haircut! Definitely will be going back to see him as long as I’m in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in and it was fairly busy for a Friday evening at a mall, was quoted about 45 min and got a call about 30min that a chair was ready for me. Mitchell was the barber that I got and he was awesome. A ton of care and passion was put into my trim. Would highly recommend asking for him if you're at the market mall location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. Me and my friends were waiting for my guy friend to finish getting my a cut by Mona and when he came out he had an undone unfinished hair cut. He asked for a fade on the sides and you could see set guidelines but wasn’t faded. My one friend who has barber experience looked at his hair and told him to go back to Mona so she could fix it. They called her out and just said “ hey you need to fix this guideline because it’s not faded properly” She refused and decided to even be rude and reply by saying “you don’t tell me what to do”. Nothing against the place but she is a terrible employee way too emotional and rude. Lisa The manager did talk to us and was very nice and helpful but I would not recommend going to Mona for a half done haircut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Years ago I had a bad experience at their crowfoot location right after it'd opened, but this was a lot better. I'd planned never to go back but when I was asking around people kept recommending them. I'm not a fan of the weird aesthetic or the TVs, and the music was good but quite a bit louder than would've been ideal. But the receptionist and the barber (I think his name was Chris) were both really great. Good conversationalists (although the music made it VERY hard to hear the receptionist) professional, friendly, and great at their jobs, they're really what made this a good experience. I liked the haircut, which I usually don't until it's had a week or two to grow back out, so I was impressed. I also had a problem where the online reservation didn't go through, but they managed to get me in reasonably quickly anyway-- they should still really fix that though. I think I'll go back, despite the minor issues the people really made it with while and the price is very reasonable.

I usually request the same stylist but the last few times I went I had different stylists and I found the stylist very professional and experienced. This last visit I had Josie and my that girl had magic Fingers when it comes to the scalp massage!
Worth the price right there!! What I like is they take the time to ask what you want and are you happy with the way the cut is progressing.
I live in the SW but always make the trip to Market Mall Tommy Gun because of the great treatment I get there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great haircut cut by a skilled professional who listened to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions. I was greeted enthusiastically and the friendly staff made me feel welcomed. I appreciated the warm atmosphere of the place! The price is reasonable and a complementary beverage is a nice touch. A loyalty card puts a free cut in my future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an awesome experience for my Son with Chris! The whole shop right from the lovely ladies at the front to Chris, the barber that cut my sons hair ! My son uses a power wheelchair and Chris didn’t hesitate to haul the barber chair out of the way and fall into easy conversation with him. He went all out with his cut, a precise and well executed fade, a and even gave him the hot towel towel treatment as a treat! My son left feeling great and looking fantastic! He can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dropped in and was received warmly. The women out front could tell I was in a hurry and bumped me ahead. The guy who cut my hair was awesome! Said he was apprenticing with them and had been there seven months. He did a great job! Very satisfied. I had an important event later that night and looked supremely good. Thank you.
